• Ending Support for AOS6
    As highlighted in our 12.10 Update notes, we will be ending support for AOS6 with the release of the 12.11 Update due to technical requirements. Those on AOS6 will need to upgrade to a device that supports AOS7 or above to continue playing DomiNations.

Greetings Leaders,
We have a hotfix going out today to fix a few reported issues from 10.0.
  • Devices with 1GB of memory or less should be able to use video ad features again. The Ads may not play, but the rewards should be claimable.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause players to be stuck in the Council tutorial and hit a network connection error.
  • Addressed rare instances of crashes associated with Council
  • Fixed an issue where Council inventory quality tab colors were missing in some languages
  • Added improvements to the page navigation and swiping in Council inventory
  • Fixed an issue with how Information Age art assets were displaying on older devices

Arriving this week will be a balance pass to a few of the Barrack Troops updated in 9.12. Update: These changes are now live.

Attack Helicopter

  • Increased Troop Space from 8 to 12
  • Decreased the damage bonus on the Rocket attack
  • Decreased the damage bonus on the Machine Gun attack slightly
  • Decreased overall hitpoints by slightly
  • Increase the scaling strength but lowered level 1's starting Damage and Health on both Machine Gun and Rocket. This will reduce the effectiveness of lower-level Attack Helicopters but keep the power of higher-level ones.
  • Decreased the range on Rockets from 6 to 5
  • Lowered Movement Speed slightly
  • Decreased the number of Helicopters spawned in certain Troop Tactics
Dev Comment: We want the Attack Helicopter to be a powerful unit, but it was performing better than initially intended. The changes we’ve made have taken into account many player suggestions, as well as feedback from internal playtests.

AFV (Assault Vehicle)
  • Bonus Modifier decreased slightly
  • Reduced Hit Points at certain levels:
    • Level 1-2 HP decreased moderately
    • Level 3-4 HP decreased slightly
Heavy Cavalry
  • Reduced Hit Points at certain levels:
    • Level 6-8 HP decreased moderately
    • Level 9-13 HP decreased slightly
Supply Wagon
  • Reduced Hit Points at certain levels:
    • Level 4-5 HP decreased greatly
    • Level 6-8 HP decreased moderately
    • Level 9-10 HP decreased slightly
Light Siege (Mortar)
  • Levels 3-9 damage bonus slightly

Hi The Wise,
I don't normally comment on much; however, I feel I need to with the above changes. I understand that you want to make barrack troops actually worth something for the higher levels as they were completely useless. I started playing Dom when it was in beta form (I started Dec 2014) so I have seen good, the bad and the ugly of the game as it has progressed and apart for attack helicopters, I haven't seen anyone in info age stray away from factory troops. If you do want barrack troops to be valued, can you ask your player base (customers) what is actually wrong with these troops or what is stopping us from using them so they can be adjusted to make them usable. May I also suggest you make the adjustments in small increments, to limit one being so overpowered it is ridiculous.
