Greetings Leaders,

DomiNations Update 11.13 is on the way. This is a smaller update that introduces a brand new Councilor and some Quality of Life updates! We also made updates to clean up various UI and text issues.

We’re continuing to dedicate more of our time to improve the Quality of Life in DomiNations. We can’t wait to bring these changes to all of you!

Quality of Life Updates
  • You will now be able to move Mercenary Camps that spawn from cleared forests
    • These camps can be moved to any open location on your main base
  • You can now turn on and off when Donated Troops and Generals will defend your base from Multiplayer Attacks
    • Two new buttons will appear when investigating your Castle/Fort titled “General Defenders” and “Defenders.” These can be toggled back and forth from “General Defenders: On” and “General Defenders: Off.” The “Defenders” button will function the same way. You will also get a confirmation message sharing whether your Generals/Defenders will or will not defend your base with each toggle.
  • Fixed the issue where Player Levels would display incorrectly in the World War Map and Roster.

Its good that you are adding Councilors one after another but what regards to limitation of Council Chambers, which is currently at 6 for my Space Age. Are there any plans to increase the Chambers too as we now have lot of choices for Councilors and also its not possible to have multiple choice of Committees with such small number of Chambers.

Also the Collection Reward Milestone is stuck at 160 councilors even after addition of NEW Councilors to the Council. Please update us further plans on these rewards too as i have already reached that Milestone like many others here i guess...!

This councillor is #1 priority for all defenders now... Problem is that we have too few spots for councillors and it starts toget really hard to choose which ones to activate...

quick Q: The graphic says TOWER DAMAGE and HP... The table underneath says ALL DEFENSIVE TOWER dmg and hp
Which one is the correct ?
It was in fact a pretty big task to implement this toggle! I'm personally excited to get this implemented live as it is a bummer to have an Alliance member donate troops to you and then by a stroke of unfortunate luck they get wiped out between then and your actual war battle.

There's a bunch of QoL stuff like this that takes a bit of time to work on, so please trust us when we say 'We hear you' because we truly do! A bunch of things are smaller to work on and we can get out there while working on much larger tasks that you all have been asking for and that we think make a strong fit in the pursuit of bettering the game.

The graphic is misleading, I'll be getting an update soon, but the tables are ALWAYS the definitive information in these updates.
 
Then why do all seasonal events boost attack so much more than defense? Be more objective please
I am being objective. What was boosted for attackers? MRLs? Tactical helicopters? Assault Vehicles?commandos? Now its going to be bazookas . Did any of those make any difference to attack strategies especially when attacking Drone age bases? How many people did you see taking out 3D drones with those troops?
I agree that last season Fighters were boosted and that gave a big advantage to attackers. But not everyone had a crafted mortar/fighter museum ready. In the past seasons HTs got increased damage and reduced Hitpoints which basically made them useless because bastions were given extra hitpoints. Infiltrators were given extra speed but reduced hitpoints. Again useless against 3D drones.
But things like air defense damage and hitpoints were boosted as well as sam and gci damage. There was plenty for defense there. How about reduced qv time? (I admit i liked that) Didnt that help defense? What about Increased fort spawn radius which is now permanent?
 
as an offensive guy you shouldnt have to use pay for premium TT to clear a 3 D base, this BS All free TT stink tbh. The game is in too much favor of defense by far. A whole library room state of defense…no such library room for offense , plus all the extra gci annd sams,and huge base levels . And you shouldn’t have to be perfect . Saying attackers don’t know how to attack is ridiculous we are loaded with good attacker in our alliance and struggle even with premium TT. this Game is losing its challenge and fun when constantly stifled. It may be true that the game was unbalanced in favor of offense before, but that no reason to make it equally lopsided against O now.

The game is called dominations, so it’s perfectly normal for attackers to be able to 5 star opponents. That said I would like to point that last 6 months changes that boosted defenses were made to make the game more balanced. It’s never exciting to 5 star easily all bases no matter what. Game become more difficult for attackers and that’s not a bad thing. It’s good to squeeze your mind, to create a nice plan and to execute it perfectly. Gives an extra satisfaction. Though in some occasions BHG went a step further. Made the win with 5 stars in top tier so difficult that favored pay to win. You needed premium TTs, or extra buildings and tactics. That’s not fair either. The ultimate balance is for a skilled attacker to be able to 5 star difficult bases without needing to use only premium TTs. And for defenders to be able to make the job of attackers extra difficult without needing to pay for Zook towers. Until we reach that point I suggest for attackers to work harder on their game plan, practice more and results will come. As for defenders I suggest to work more their base designs. Sometimes base design is even more important that museum stats. Lately I have seen some base designs that were clever and very detailed. Some guys put a lot of thought.

Dominations is Not an attacking game. Not sure where you got this impression from. it’s a war game. In war there are two sides. 7 years ago I had asked TinSoldier, how did you guys come up with the Name Dominations. He told me they wanted alliance wars to be the primary focus. Each alliance will try to dominate their opponent. Dominate became Dominations. An ideal name for the game.

It ISN'T an attacking game?? Yes there are 2 sides to war but you have to actively attack to make a war. No one actively defends. Not sure I'd like to watch a war movie where both sides actively decide to defend.
When someone goes to war they've made the decision to attack and to win something - that's the whole point. If, when you were starting out, you actively attacked players and lost every time you attacked, I doubt you would've stuck with it for a few weeks, let alone years. Would the game have been fun for you? I can only assume but I doubt it.
Not an attacking game - sheesh!

ps: and how do you dominate someone if you don't win? Not sure how that works, logically speaking.

That’s why I used the phrase not ONLY premium TTs. Of course you will have to use some premiums in certain bases. But not just premiums in most D bases. I understand that there is a company that has to make money to be sustained. But there are also players that can’t spend enough but still like the game and want to have a shot at big 3Ds with their plan and talent in attacking.
 
How do we deactivate our gens now that the button is gone?
Edit- Seems you can remove gens using the bottom troop bar

Oh please. You got a permanent defensive addition to Library. More sams, gci, helis were nerfed permanently, HTs now suck, increased fort spawn radius, Now Recon has -50% scan radius and fuck knows what else. I've lost track of how many ways defense has been boosted and you're crying about a temporary boost to Fighters when you have so many permanent boosts to defense? Is there any other troop other than mortars that can clear 3D drone bases? You want a game where absolutely nothing can clear your defense base? It might please you and boost your ego, but it will kill all enjoyment in the game fir the majority of players.
Plenty of offensive players have quit the game too. No one wants to see all their hard work put into museum constantly screwed up every 2,3 months.

just been discussing in alliance. defence made even easier with the way everything just goes back and forwards in a bastion. No fun in offence whatsoever. The over whelming feeling is basically f*ck it and go back to clash.
 
visual bug in therhere already a visual buf in the council collection when you go to see seondock war stuff. the last value is always at 0% and there is only 4 of them

Many players again discovered problems with alliance reinforcements, troops disappear after donation.
This was fixed in one of the latest updates, but has now returned again.

It’s ridiculous to say attackers don’t know how to attack. My alliance has great attackers and no one can clear these D bases anymore, and they use premium TT. So you pay for the privilege of 2-3* a base using premiums, a very good museum and a good attack strat. The problem is the constant whining from d players so they can only be be 5* rarely anymore . A whole library room for defense only. And D guys still complain when their base falls …like they should,never fall…ludicrous . D is OP…period and it’s going to lead to good attackers quitting the game, I see it happening already.
