Greetings Leaders,

DomiNations Update 11.13 is on the way. This is a smaller update that introduces a brand new Councilor and some Quality of Life updates! We also made updates to clean up various UI and text issues.

We’re continuing to dedicate more of our time to improve the Quality of Life in DomiNations. We can’t wait to bring these changes to all of you!

Quality of Life Updates
  • You will now be able to move Mercenary Camps that spawn from cleared forests
    • These camps can be moved to any open location on your main base
  • You can now turn on and off when Donated Troops and Generals will defend your base from Multiplayer Attacks
    • Two new buttons will appear when investigating your Castle/Fort titled “General Defenders” and “Defenders.” These can be toggled back and forth from “General Defenders: On” and “General Defenders: Off.” The “Defenders” button will function the same way. You will also get a confirmation message sharing whether your Generals/Defenders will or will not defend your base with each toggle.
  • Fixed the issue where Player Levels would display incorrectly in the World War Map and Roster.

Additional Fixes
  • Fixed the issue where players could select the Council Building during attacks.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes a network disconnect would occur when claiming multiple chests that were automatically opened.
Road Ahead
An updated Road Ahead is on the way sharing an early look at future content being added to DomiNations. You can expect the latest edition to hit the forums Tomorrow!

This councillor is #1 priority for all defenders now... Problem is that we have too few spots for councillors and it starts toget really hard to choose which ones to activate...

quick Q: The graphic says TOWER DAMAGE and HP... The table underneath says ALL DEFENSIVE TOWER dmg and hp
Which one is the correct ?
 
yet another Defense loaded update. Starting to get old and too lopsided towards D. This councilor has 5 great D lines. There is no other councilor or legendary artifacts with 5 great lines to O or D. Not happy with that. Attacking has become too difficult already Tbh. I like the general toggle though

Are you kidding? For 3 longggggg months defenders had to put up with very OP Fighters and Mortars. This new defense counselor is much overdue.Do you realize that attackers can pump up Mortars to near 45% with committee counselors. Guess what? There are Zero…ZERO invading mortar damage or HP counselor lines anywhere in committee For defense. Defenders have no way to counter the big Mortar offense lines in committee.

I've also been asking for this for years. Clash has had this type of feature for a long time and I've always said it would be a good qol addition to dominations. I'm glad they're finally implementing it.

No, the problem with defense players is that many have quit the game. Defenders are in high demand now as many have given up or got bored. Attackers have enjoyed many new attacking counselors. Defense has not.

The problem is not Off vs Def - it's expectations.
BHG expects to get revenue while creating addictive content - as is their right - and players expect the game to be tailored for their individual needs - which'll never happen.
Players may need to manage their expectations. Play the game for fun and you don't need to spend much (if at all) and the overall gameplay is fine.
Play the game with a win-at-all-costs mindset or with either Off vs Def mindset and you guarantee to set yourself up for disappointment.
 
Ahora puedes activar y desactivar cuando las tropas y generales donados defenderán tu base de los ataques multijugador.

This is the best that has been implemented in a long time, really congratulations for this work! 👏

Oh please. You got a permanent defensive addition to Library. More sams, gci, helis were nerfed permanently, HTs now suck, increased fort spawn radius, Now Recon has -50% scan radius and fuck knows what else. I've lost track of how many ways defense has been boosted and you're crying about a temporary boost to Fighters when you have so many permanent boosts to defense? Is there any other troop other than mortars that can clear 3D drone bases? You want a game where absolutely nothing can clear your defense base? It might please you and boost your ego, but it will kill all enjoyment in the game fir the majority of players.
Plenty of offensive players have quit the game too. No one wants to see all their hard work put into museum constantly screwed up every 2,3 months.

This is complete nonsense. The card is of the "Royalty" type. She doesn't fit into any defense committee. As a defender, I simply have nowhere to put it
 
@Harlems369th We definitely appreciate all the qol improvements. But you do realize that other than for a few vocal defenders we are all sick of the constant boosts to defense? The game is getting skewed too much towards defense. It was balanced for a while but its getting increasingly frustrating for attackers now.
Then why do all seasonal events boost attack so much more than defense? Be more objective please
 
I don't know how much glory your alliance has or if you are playing competitively but I do remember clearly that Defenders almost FOREVER had to endure the constant five starring of their bases regardless of the metagame and the age they were in. All work they put into their base was nullified by an op offensive strategy or unit:

- atomic age helis that could kill 400+ drone level bases
- mortars
- zook+AR
- fighters
- 4 eisenhowers + general dmg
- 4 bombers + 3 tupos + 1 recon

I play as a striker too and things were too easy for us. We get no joy from that! Now, even after all those buffs, bases still fall. Only that now you need to use the best TTs you have, think your strategy thoroughly and execute it perfectly if you want a chance to get 5 stars. I have seen with my eyes, top D bases fall! So, this proves that all those buffs were needed to bring the balance to this game.

The real problem is that every 3 months we get a different game to play and this is what causes an imbalance again! It was fighters, it will be Zook Sentries, something else next year...

They are accustomed to the simplest game possible - to land their troops and simply watch as the enemy base is completely destroyed.
Now they need to think through many aspects of the attack

it is royalty... So far, only offensive committees use Royalty but I have the belief that new committees will be made.
Also, the new age might bring an 8th slot.
And last of all, we can use this councillor in the place of a Samurai or Admiral under Churchill committee (losing the Sniper towers splash damage in the process as a downside)

exactly... I am visiting a lower glory alliance atm and I watch most replays. They are dreadful. I don't know where to begin so I say nothing...
