So I'm casually raiding, looking to get enough gold to upgrade another brick in the wall, and I'm booted out of the game. Log back in to find the following wonderful message to greet me.

Never cheated, didn't even get to use the Witch bug to my advantage..

Play more than I should do.. spent more money than I should have...

Nb4, what the actual farce...

out of curiosity, did you upgrade your game with today's patch before this?

if i was struggling with motivation to maintain interest, and this happened, that would send me to another distraction.

Yep, installed the update today. Can only think my opponent in war reported me. Changed Angkor Watt to Versailles on planning day and I'm a maxed defence aa lvl 229.

A cheap way to win a war is to report the most threatening opponent.

Already contacted CS on here and reaching out to NB4 - may or may not help, but whatever.

Good to know how they treat players who've been on the game since month 1, 2 years down the road and CS can politely chew on my nether parts...

good for you, but my experience is once an automated 'ban' happens ..... they will get outrage from the user even if the ban is correctly applied, so they tend to ignore you. your only outlet might be here, and it should find a friendly audience considering today's drama.

At this stage I'd be happy to know what they believe I've done wrong in any way shape or form.

They can work out how to compensate me financially and by way of crowns / glory for the rest of the alliance later

Happened to one of our players too. He is legit as well. Just another NEXON bug. Sry to hear. It is Amateur hour at NEXON. Your base will also be rolled back after the 3 days even though it looks the same now.

Got a reply this morning from Game Master Tin

"This is Game Master Tin here to assist you with your concern. We would like to inform you that you had been temporarily banned in playing the game as your account was found to be involved in suspicious activity such as using a certain exploit on your Victory Chest. Please be reminded to refrain from doing this again. If we found another suspicious activities in your account in the future, we shall perform the necessary actions to your account. Please take note that our decision on this matter is final and we may no longer entertain additional questions regarding this issue."

Not only do i not know what he's going on about, but this gives me no real indication of what i've actually done!

When he says exploit, does he really mean a bug that hasn't been fixed? I don't know of any exploit, nor would i use one.
What do i do not to let this happen again?

All i know about the victory chest is get stars, claim a prize..

What is the suspicious activity?
What can i do to not be acting suspiciously, apart from playing the game less?

Though if i play the game less, that would actually be suspicious given the amount of time i've spent on it in the last couple of years.

make no mistake though, it's not customer support. That role would resolve issues. NEXON has Customer Service, responsible for copypasta and calling themselves game master.

That would be nice to have the skinny on, as to why you randomly got this.. .screwed up

We have also experienced being reported for no good reason by war opponents whose only goal is to harass. Playing dirty. It's pretty disgusting.

The real and only question i care about is what have i done so i'm not going to be guilty of encountering a bug again.

Banned for uncovering a bug that Nexon haven't fixed and accused by Customer Support of exploiting the system.
