• Ending Support for AOS6
As highlighted in our 12.10 Update notes, we will be ending support for AOS6 with the release of the 12.11 Update due to technical requirements. Those on AOS6 will need to upgrade to a device that supports AOS7 or above to continue playing DomiNations.

If the above is true it is frankly shocking. The Global age is already handicapped with no barracks troop increase; this makes it the worst age to be in at the moment.

Uhm, I have no problem with it. When I need oil, I get 60-70k in an hour with this. When starting from 50k-60k (basically noone will bother to deal with you until that amount) in 2 hours I can get oil for any oil upgrade. You too. Say thank you to NEXON for making it possible. The rules are the same for everyone... Its obviously harder now to keep higher volumes of oil for a GA player, but that could be solved by decreasing the oil cap for them.

That's a pretty lame viewpoint TBH.

Given that Global Age players will need to do 2 factory upgrades of 230k oil each once they go Atomic on top of the 2 Global Age upgrades, they will never be able hold onto enough oil to get that helicopter unless they spend serious $$$. Global Age players might as well quit the game now, it will be impossible for them. Even those with helicopters will get fed up them, within a few weeks there be far less oil to raid.

One correction , I thought the approx 4.5 min train time to be the normal , but it's not . It's with TB . Normal training time is 13 mins. And since it's not barracks troop (duh me) so two level 7 factories can train two Helis in 4.5 mins in a TB . 5 raiders in parallel. Ok maybe not that easy to achieve 150k oil a day , but still doable. Apologies for spreading misinformation in my prev post . But yes 100k oil a day is still very much a reality . With good luck and finding 5000 oil bases frequently , 200k oil a day is still achievable

I'm fond of the way the first war perk increases gold yet again while they do zero for the severe food shortage in higher ages. It's like this game is entirely designed to keep people at the very tip top happy and screw everyone else. I don't have their analytics but common sense tells me throwing so many roadblocks up against the lower level players will not lead to big huge sales numbers.

I think nearly all the alliance perks are trash, think you can find my thought in the sticky thread.

Imagine how many ppl hv both max lv7 factories to train the helicopter? I dont think many. So if only 1 max factory, it takes 10 mins minimum for 2 helicopter and it's not really efficient than raider

It's ok, they'll be getting plenty of oil for their second factory.

Don't forget, they'll be able to train raiders in their barracks while their factories are training heli's = efficient raiding. The French with a training blessing can train a heli in 1m49s per factory. With 2 factories and 2 heli's per attack, they can probably train them faster than they lose them.

So this is the time to revolution to france. Lol

The train times should be at 30-45minutes PER helicopter with no training blessing applied. This will limit its uses....This is so ridiculous. Being new at Global, it is already annoying to hold onto your oil as it is...

Yes, I agree, easy to defend for the ''first'' attack.
Whenever they go for my oil it gives me a win (no treaty) and exposes my traps on that side of the base! :(

Finally we have a unit which can have some fun LOL, btw probably in the next update raiders will be excluded from the units that you can deploy in drop zone of this helicopter.

I've found most players have adapted to defend this kind of attack. Position your refinery so the helicopter has to fly over the TH. Howitzers shoot at them and they die very quickly. SAMs do the job too.

WTF, a cannon shoots air units?

Tanks and cannons shoot at the old helicopter too. They aren't really "air units" because they are from the barracks or factory, and not airstrip.

Except they are air units. They fly. Cannons/tanks should not be able to target any flying troop. It should not matter where they are trained either. If it flys in the air over walls etc, and is targeted by sams, its an air unit plain and simple. If it is going to be considered a ground unit, then SAMS should not be allowed to target them.

Question:

Do you "load" the troops into the TH before you deploy it?

If so do you lose those troops if its shot down before you are able to deploy the loaded troops?

If the loading of troops doesnt work this way, why not.

That has to be the most OP thing about the TH and not the fact you can raid oil easily right now.

They dont truly carry a load right now, its more like a teleportation device that heals things instead of actually a tactical helicopter that takes a load of troops some where.
