Glory Decay Update

The team has gone through several checks on the Glory Decay to ensure that it is working as intended, no one has been wrongfully hit by the decay's parameters.

I apologize but I can't go into details on what those parameters are, an alliance won't be affected for a single parameter and must meet all of them to be impacted by decay.

Why parameters for decay are top secret ?
It will be much easier for all to know that info.

Explain to me how creating an alliance and moving back and forth between your own alliances is against the tos or unfair? Anyone can do that if they wish. Bhg taking steps to prevent the freedom to move to whatever alliance you want and preventing creating competitive alliances is a huge misstep on their part.

Your statement is incorrect. There was a team, not mine, that was hit by glory decay that had warred 2 days before.

I don't see any reason why to explain a meaning on fair play, but ...

If a group of players has two or more alliances, with enough accounts to war all regularly, its fully ok.

If a bunch of idiots is running 5, 6 or 7 alliances by moving around its simply a sign of being assholes.

The one team you mentioned has warred two days before the decay, that's correct. But thins was the first war since October 2021 of that team. And immediately after this one war all moved out to other teams. May everybody think by himself what this behavior is, I say its douchebaggery.

Reading around the several forums, groups and servers your meaning is a minority one. Most players welcome the decay.

Plus, another huge benefit: since the decay matching is better, at least for our alliance. What is pretty logic as around 25 team were removed from top 100 and probably 50 from top 200. As matching must be related to glory somehow (even if there is no official statement) there are now more active teams in top 100 / 200 / 500 as before.

It definitely was a good move and seeing that some people are asking for the rules shows that some want to find a workaround to avoid decay.

You still haven't shown me how it's against the rules. Anyone can do the same thing. Just because one group is creating additional alliances and then warring isn't stopping anyone else from doing the same thing.

So once again, how is what they are doing against the rules? I'll give you a clue. It isn't. Fyi, i don't support ares. I'm supporting individual and alliance freedom.

Can I know what was done? I saw that we won some places in the world leaderboard, but why? I don't need the parameters for the values update, but what was performed?
Sometimes we do a summer or winter break for Xmas etc. Max 2 weeks no war. Will our alliance be negatively hit by "some" new rule?

I think it should be run every week on a random day and hour. Any alliance that hasn't warred from the last glory decays gets their glory reduced. The leaderboards should always reflect current leaders and not has beens.

BHG need to change this ridiculous sistem.
Glory should be calculation of power of players in team.
Museum, university, level, statistic in players attack or defense - all that together should be measure for glory.

Like that, let's say Ares, doesn't metter if they have war against us and they are on first place or they move to small leaderbord alliance they will again be favourite in that match.

You want more hints to go wrong with game?? Keep it simple or many things will happen and you will all cry about it, just get better at winning wars and you get glory it’s that simple

We have an update coming to the Leaderboards that will introduce a glory decay to inactive alliances on the leaderboard. We’ve been taking a look at how competition has been settling in regards to glory, in doing so we found that perhaps we could encourage an additional competitive drive for Alliances. Our goal here is to keep the leaderboards competitive and active, as we’re seeing situations where inactive alliances are able to hold their current positions.

Mind explaining why an alliance that warred 3 days ago and was warring regularly was glory decayed?

Really getting sick and tired of the double standards that Ares alliances have to deal with from BHG because another group of community members constantly complain.

Remember we’re customers as well, we’ve spent time and money to be in the position we’re in. This is coming from a player that is VIP 13… way too much money wasted funding your company for you to repeatedly show favoritism to others.

@Harlems369th will we be getting a refund of all our buildings and Troop Tactics essentially stolen from us by BHG for the glory we earned just the other day that was rolled today is this just another example of BHG stealing from ARES because of the piss ants that can't defeat us because they won't spend what we do?

Getting sick of investing in this game just to have my investments stolen from me by it.

Ok this is outrageous...

I woke up today, only to find my alliance "Greeks reborn" 20 places down in the leaderboard. What are you doing? Our last war was exactly 2 days ago!!

We went to a sister alliance for a 30vs for some fun and in a few hours we would spin again on our home alliance.

Please reinstate our lost glory. It took us 9 months of fighting at the top to reach top15 and you ruined it just because we didn't play for 2 days which happens all the time??

I don't see point of cutting glory to teams, especially to teams like Ares. You just helping them to steel more glory from other teams in top position with moving them behind them. You move them behind lot's of teams and now they get more glory for matching a lot weaker teams. Glory system only on position is not good and you need to change that system.

Why you don't make like 2,3 weeks tournament and make good rewards and after reset of everyone glory?
