Not receiving DomiNations World account ‘Forgot Password’ emails

After the update this morning, I cannot log into my DomiNations World account; my email address & password are not working, and when I request a “Forgot Password’ request, I get nothing in my email, including the spam folder. I've tried a couple of times today & now I get the following message when I try to log in: “This email needs to be verified before login can continue. Please check your email program for the verification email, and click the link within. Then please return and log in again.” & still, no email arrives. I signed up for a DomiNations World account at the start of the year & my game has been linked ever since.

Could you manually send me a password reset request to my email address in the submitted ticket?
Or is it possible to unlink my account from DomiNation World so I can sign it up again under a new account and link it again?

Maybe this helps: When trying to login, you can create a new account.
Do that, with the email adres and password you used.
I ran into the same issue, no password reset mail etc.
I signed up with the existing Domi World account (that would not let me log on). Al of a sudden I got the mail within seconds, and all bases were visible.
To me it feels like some accounts are known in the BHG database, but have some status like:To be confirmed/Not active. When using known login data to signup, the account is actually (re)activated.

This worked on my iPad / iPhone; my game is running. But I still can't access https://www.dominationsworld.com/ after I have done this. WEIRD

Ok, so you got ingame, thats a good start!
For the website I will give a very cliche advise: delete the BHG (or all if you’re lazy 🙂) cookies and try again.
Just to be sure: you did get the ‘Account confirmation’ e-mail after you re-signed up?

Just checked again & I'm able to get in. Didn't let me straight away after I got into my game initially it must of need extra time for the website.

Having this same issue, cant log in to link my accounts. Attempted to reset the password however the email never arrives. Tried to submit a customer support ticket but the site cannot be reached bc the host server is not responding. The work around suggested above didnt work for me unfortunately. I cannot log in with my account credentials, and if, I attempt to create an account using existing credentials I get a negative response which does not let me proceed saying the password needs at least eight characters, one upper case, one lower case, one number, and one special character (the password has 15 characters and two or more of each requirement) not sure what the issue is there

Do me a favor and start by sending an email to support@bighugegames.com since you're having trouble reaching the site

One of the issues we're hearing about with the pwd char issue you referenced above it that the pwd isn't actually being inserted into the field. Some players have mentioned that they have to tap the field twice. Can you try that and also make sure to toggle the visibility of the pwd to make sure its showing up in the field correct?

I emailed support as you suggested and am waiting for a reply.* Ticket 40155 confirmed just waiting for review now
I can confirm that toggling password visibility shows the the pwd is showing up in the field correctly for both Account Login and Setup Account.

On a side note while trying to figure this out on the DomiNations World interface I accidentally created a second new world/base with the exact same name. Which I cant delete bc it requires confirmation with support but all the option does is open an infinite loading screen. 😂

There are some paths where you can get into a state like that by accident. CS team is well equipped to help you get straightened out, we ask for a bit of patience however as they're experiencing a high volume of tickets. But rest assured you'll be back playing without a hitch!

So, been going back and forth with customer service with this over email the last few days and have hit a sort of feedback loop thats not progressing.
They tell me to enable email sharing when logining in with Apple ID and contact them if the issue persists.
I enable it, I still dont get the password reset email, I let them know and it bounces to a new rep who says to follow the steps outlined previously and contact them if the issue persists.
Which ofc still does bc the steps still dont work as Ive already told them.
I think the issue is largely to using the Apple ID method of login and am wondering if there is some way to change the World account to just email + password?
The reps so far have not answered that question despite me asking twice and quite frankly Im thinking I will just have to give up on linking my accounts entirely atp which is pretty disappointing as that was a feature I was quite excited about.

Hey @Burnner. Bummed to hear that you're still locked out. Have you tried logging out of SIWA and back in using the standard username and pwd that you use on DW?

Are you able to log into DW?

I have not had any issues with the online DW login thankfully. Only that the password recovery email never sends to my email.
Not sure what you mean by SIWA.
What the reps have had me do is log in and out on my main device and adjust permissions. Unfortunately this hasnt fixed the issue and has the byproduct of adding multiple dud dawn age bases to my profile.

Can you sign out of Apple and sign in with your DominationsWorld.com username and password using the standard login in the mobile game?

Ah I see. No, it says the email and password are not recognized however if I go to create an account with the same email it say the email is already associated with an account and to try again with the proper password. This is originally why I was attempting to reset the password.
