• Ending Support for AOS6
As highlighted in our 12.10 Update notes, we will be ending support for AOS6 with the release of the 12.11 Update due to technical requirements. Those on AOS6 will need to upgrade to a device that supports AOS7 or above to continue playing DomiNations.

DomiNations v11.1 Update

11.1_update.jpg

Greetings Leaders,

DomiNations update v11.1 is rolling out live today. This one is more about tidying up some loose ends as we continue to plug away at future content releases for Drone Age! We also introduce a new tab to the Seasonal Leaderboards which gives Alliances another way to compete and gives players another opportunity to contribute to the Alliance for overall rewards.

  • Introducing the Seasonal Alliance Leaderboard tab.

This is an additional tab included with the Seasonal Leaderboards. Players will be locked into a Primary Alliance at the start of the season. If you wish to have a different Primary Alliance, Players must make their changes prior to the Season’s start date. All Alliance members will be able to help contribute to their overall Alliance Triumph pool during a season. Triumph is accrued the same way it traditionally was. Players will be able to inspect their Alliance’s rank, and also their individual Triumph contributions within their own Alliance. All Alliance members will receive the season-end rewards based on the rank their Alliance finishes the season.

It should be noted that if a player leaves their Primary Alliance during an Active Alliance Leaderboard they will be unable to receive the Active Buffs, and claim the Final Rewards upon season end. You can still participate in the Individual Leaderboard, however.

Should you leave your Primary Alliance during the season you will be notified before doing so and will need to confirm this action. If you join another Alliance after leaving your Primary you will Not contribute to Triumph nor gain the rewards/buffs of the new Alliance. If you return to your Primary Alliance you’ll pick up where you left off in Contributions. You won’t however add any Triumph to your original Alliance for any Triumph earned while you were away.
Additionally, should you return to your Primary Alliance Before the end of the Active phase of the season you will gain the buffs and rewards from that Alliance. Should you return After the Active phase you will Not be eligible for those Final Rewards. Once the reward phase begins your Primary Alliance will be locked in and your Triumph score and rewards will be on that Alliance.

Lastly, if your Alliance does not qualify to participate in Leaderboard events you will be treated as though you are not in an Alliance. As such you will be able to join a different Alliance and be able to fully participate and earn rewards. When joining that Alliance it will then become your Primary Alliance.

Should you be kicked from your Alliance during a Leaderboard event you will be able to join an Alliance and earn rewards there. Even if you’re kicked from the Alliance during the Reward Phase you’ll still be able to claim your Final Rewards as though you were never kicked.

You can experience the Alliance Leaderboards starting 8/3 alongside the Regular Seasonal Leaderboard!

  • Reworked the Councilor Fusion window to return to the chamber that you fused from when completing your fusion.

Previously the Councilor menu would return to the Main Hall rather than the War Hall after fusing War Councilors. This made for a confusing experience which led to players thinking that they were receiving Main Hall Councilors for fusing War Councilors. We’re hoping that this helps to alleviate the confusion.

  • Fixed a visual issue where Drone Age troop tactics for Generals Washington and Ferdinand Foch were missing sprites in the information window.
Fixed an issue where the third Drone Age Bunker would spawn what appeared to be a Heavy Tank 1. Corrected it to show the correct Tank spawning.

A request.
I'm an active player and I'm a regular participant in a specific alliance, but occasionally I like to visit friends in other alliances.
It would be very nice, from this moment in which the triumph event involves alliances, to be informed of the start date of each new event.
That way I could still visit off-season friends and not risk being left out of contention in my original alliance.

I spoke for myself, but imagining that similar situations must occur with other players and alliances.
That's why I ask that we be notified of the start dates of the events.

Another point I would like to address is a longer interval between events.
It is often overwhelming to be competitive in this type of event.
Usually after a fierce dispute, you don't even want to look at the game anymore.
A longer interval could minimize this impact with negative consequences for the players and consequently for the game itself.

what bug fixes were sorted??? is there a patch notes i can read.

All defenders who has tubman completed is still waiting for a fix so the command post does not determine what the level defenders the houses spawn. Essentially this nerfed all defenders with tubman so that the max age of rifleman that can spawn from houses is cold war age...

You can just ask your leader to kick you out, and that way won't missout any rewards.

For long intervals, if you are feeling overwhelmed, they don't complete in that season. But don't suggest longer waiting time between seasons as intervals are already quite lengthy.

Marvelous. What a stupid release. Leader board active moe and we cant het past the ‘intro’ as there is a missing’continue’

how hard can it be to test this crap

Hey @TheWise. I have one burning question. I think many players will understand me. Why does every minor game update lead to serious crashes and gameplay disruptions? Do you have testers on your staff, do they work at all? Can you describe the process of testing new improvements before updates are released? Why is the same thing repeated EVERY TIME and players have to suffer because the testers could not find ELEMENTARY problems in the improved functionality? Thanks

this is wrong @Harlems369th . the tanks spawned look like mk12s and not mk14. I suspect that this is a bug and not the intended behavior. I am talking about HTs spawned from bunkers and factories after destruction.
can you pls check this?

Tho, you are grouping alliances for a leaderboard competition … and matching teams with 30 members to teams with 45 members. Sorry, the leaderboard is a joke from day 1. Think about it.

Definitely submit a ticket on this as well if you haven't already. The more info we can gather the better always.

Excellent point. Agreed.

This section of the patch notes should answer both your and @Gumba's question

We won't be running Community Wars when there are 7 days left in a season to avoid being unable to claim rewards and gain some last-minute triumph for your Primary Alliance. After the community war is completed you should return back to your primary Alliance as soon as possible.
