DomiNations Update 12.11 - Councilor Simón Bolívar

DOM_SM_09_18_24_Update_12_11_Robodog_SimonBolivar.png

Greetings Leaders,

DomiNations Update 12.11 is rolling out now! This smaller update will give you a few things to tinker with prior to a much larger update in the coming months. Within 12.11 we’ll be introducing two new Troop Tactics right out of the Robotics Age and adding a new Councilor to collect!

Ending Support for Android 6 OS
As of this update, we will be ending support for Android 6 (Marshmallow) and below due to technical requirements. Players will need to upgrade to a device that supports Android 7 (Nougat) and above to continue playing DomiNations.

New Troop Tactics - G00D-80Y & CL3V3R-G1RL

As an early look at what you might expect from the Robotics Age, we’re introducing two new Troop Tactics: the G00D-80Y (read Good Boy) and CL3V3R-G1RL (read Clever Girl).

G00D-80Y

The G00D-80Y deals heavy damage to defenders within a front-facing cone.

The CL3V3R-G1RL has unique functionality. While it deals low damage, it can disable defensive buildings and continue to disable them until either the CL3V3R-G1RL or the Defensive Building is destroyed. Once the Defensive Building is destroyed it will move on to another. This Troop Tactic will not target Buildings already disabled or Buildings already being targeted by another CL3V3R-G1RL.

This latest Troop Tactic will be ready for deployment starting 10/21!

New Councilor - Simón Bolívar
Simón Bolívar, famously known as "El Libertador," was a towering figure in the fight for South American independence in the early 19th century. After studying in Spain, where he absorbed Enlightenment ideals and revolutionary fervor from Europe and North America, he witnessed the chaos of the Napoleonic Wars and became determined to liberate his homeland from Spanish colonial rule. Simón Bolívar stands as a timeless symbol of liberation, unity, and the relentless pursuit of justice, inspiring not only Latin Americans but people worldwide in their quest for freedom and equality.

As a Councilor in DomiNations, Simón Bolívar will improve Guerrilla and Bazooka Troops in both Main and War Council Chambers. You can begin recruiting Simón Bolívar starting 10/28.

Additional Updates
  • Fixed an issue where some players were unable to assemble Components with exact totals.
    • This was coupled with the release of Ransom Olds and the ‘Component Material Cost’ research. If you had the exact amount of one or all the materials required for Component assembly, there would be an error that showed the ‘Insufficient Materials’ pop-up and prevented you from completing the Component. This should now be resolved.

Are those 2 TTs gonna be affected by coalitions and if yes, which ones?
Can you release the stats per level of TT?

Bolivar before San Martin?? it's incredible, don't you know anything about Latin American history??
"The Liberator" is what General San Martin is called!! Liberator of the Argentine Republic, Chile, and Peru!!!
inform yourselves a little!
I do not understand the rationale behind your complaint. Bolivar is also referred to as El Libertador, and the historical summary above looks accurate to me. did BGH promise that councilors would be introduced in some particular order? Most popular? Most impactful? it’s obvious to me that they are trying to add councilors from all over the world and across thousands of years, it’s impossible to include everyone’s favorites.

Your answer is illogical. There is supposed to be a tacit logical order, which is that of importance. The most important always come first in order. Another thing is, it was time they thought about South America. They always forget it, and when they remember, these things happen. They don't even take the time to do it right.

Who cares whether he is a the liberator. It’s just another pointless councillor that further dilutes a huge pool of pointless councillors.
Seriously need to bring legendary councillors within reach of normal players. I just fused nearly 250 common/uncommon and what did I get… more of the same dross. Best I saw was Florence at epic level. Useless

I agree it feels like an endless fusion of common and uncommon councilors, just to get more of the same, especially because the chance of getting epic and legendary drops significantly when fusing. Statistically we have to fuse 60 epic councilors (which is hard enough to get) to get 1 legendary.
It would make better sense, feel more rewarding, and make it possible to work towards specific councilors, if fusing e.g. 3 of the same councilor at one level would give one of the same councilors at the next level. It would still require 81 (if it requires 3 per level) common counsilors of the same kind to get one legendary, so we would not all have full plate of legendary councilors within a few weeks, if this way of fusion is implemented. It will still take some time, which is fine as it should still be a quest to get the legendary councilors.
This is also the way fusion of items works in most other games.

Wow these units are very cool ! Good job ! But sad to see the automation age don't have the same mechanic because it has robots too !

Can you support the option of receiving in batches?,It's very troublesome to receive them one by one when you receive recruitment.,Or the resources obtained in battle.,If overflowed, it's directly stored in lnventory.

unfortunately council has become meaningless after you get all purple councillors. Fusion is totally a waste of time

Council is a complete waste of time and money. 3 times uses crowns to gain a couple of higher levels but nothing doing. Always green and grey and they fuse into nothing. Two years since a decent councillor. It’s an exercise in wasting time and money.
