DomiNations 11.2.4 Hotfix

Greetings Leaders,

Hotfix 11.2.4 is rolling out now. This fix addresses indefinite load times the “Yellow Circle” when loading into World Wars. Additionally, it implements updates for Game Center Account-related network issues and removes some exploits around Artifact crafting.

We are still hard at work addressing some additional Network stability issues for a future Hotfix.

EDIT:
This was a server stability patch and won't appear as a numbered update in the Game Client. The fix in regard to the "Yellow Circle" is specific to those that it prevented from entering an active World War. We are still working on fixes for other instances of Network Disconnects "Yellow Circle".

We are still hard at work addressing some additional Network stability issues for a future Hotfix.

I'm not sure if the hotfix has been released yet, but I have to say that my gaming experience has gotten worse and I'll explain what's been happening.

- I got disconnected during a battle, something absolutely unusual. Luckily it wasn't in WW, but I lost all troops.

- I'm having difficulties accessing the WW tab. When clicking on the tab, the yellow circle appears and I can't perform any more game functions, requiring a restart of the game. This was already happening, but it got worse. Sometimes I need to restart the game several times to be able to access the WW tab

- Yellow circles still appear after a battle, both in the center of the screen and on top of buildings that received alliance acceleration, resulting in the loss of troops.

This update was on the back end and didn't require a download. This didn't address all instances of Network Instability "Yellow Circle" but it did address some. We're still working on addressing each case in which players can run into that issue.

I wish you and the entire team good luck, but unfortunately my account remains true. The situation after the hotfix, in my case, got worse.

The hotfix is not applied yet because my app is not is displaying the old version and not this 11.2.4 version

I now have the yellow spinning circles whilst atte to access the WW I am in since the latest hotfix has been issued. I’ve not had this issue prior to the latest hotfix.

It's even worse, I had to retrain mercenaries troops during the WW with crowns all mine other coffers are empty. After a battle it doesn't Matter if you choose retrain, VIP retrain or instant retrain, yellow circles appear, game stops after losing network connection, restart and you return to your base with the troops who survived the battle

If I go straight into WW after loading the game up it works. If I access another compom of the game- university, parliament, etc I get the spinng circle of doom.

The problem has not yet been resolved and as I imagine that the dev team is having difficulties due to the time the problem has been occurring, maybe we players can try to help by giving clues or reporting curious events.

I have a situation to report in addition to what has already been said by me and other players.

Sometimes I notice that the amount and type of troops I lose during a battle is different from what I need to retrain after restarting the game due to the yellow circles. It seems that the game understands differently what I lost in a battle and what is required to retrain. I will give 2 examples.

Exemple1
I once lost some troops during a battle, but in that battle I didn't use mercenaries. After the circles appeared at the end of the battle and I had to force stop the App and restart the game, my mercenaries were gone.

Example 2.
When finishing a battle, in the final results of the battle it appeared that I lost 2 commands and 5 RPGs. When requesting to retrain the circles appeared and I had to restart the App. When I went to put troops to train, I only had room to train 2 commands and 2 RPGs.

That is, somehow the information of the game is not in harmony.

These inconsistencies have already appeared a few times. I hope this can help in the search for the problem we are facing.

Yes we're still working on these Network difficulties. This is great information! But please continue to submit this feedback to our CS team as well. It all compiles together in our tracking of these issues and helps line things up as we look it over to pinpoint a root cause.

Even without the Instant Retrain the bug is here and even happens more often by my account. CS reply is that my comprehensive report (app log, attack details, network log) has been submitted to someone. Amazing. An easy workaround is at hand (if after the login the retrain options are available, read the troops used by the last hit from the battle log and offer the retrain), but BHG devs are more clever than that. Congrats for teasing us with multiple hotfix tries
