• Ending Support for AOS6
As highlighted in our 12.10 Update notes, we will be ending support for AOS6 with the release of the 12.11 Update due to technical requirements. Those on AOS6 will need to upgrade to a device that supports AOS7 or above to continue playing DomiNations.

Guys, they know that the most of the players are still playing the game, they whatch the activity. The most significant thing that happened is that many players moved to smaller alliances to learn to tap after the rebalancing, and not lose their precious glory.
Complaining is no going to change anything.
You are wrong. Not all playing community is represented at the forum, but we represent a big part of it. Some people represent that part which is happy with the rebalance, I represent the part which is not happy. Those who leave represent the leaving part of the player base, and I’m sure that it is pretty big. Many players moved to other alliances because their home alliance died and they want to find a new home for themselves. Those who want to learn and not to loose glory just stop warring. Complaining changed some things in the game, so it does change things sometimes.

Adding to the suacide note that has become the forum. Lost another player this morning. A spender I recruited. Sent me a sorry note with “just feels like a full time job just to slowly lose ground”. I will most likely be leaving after stage 4 destroys raiding. I sure as hell will not gem lost troops. I’ve held onto my gift cards since they announced the rebalance. I’m glad I did. Would have been a waste.

. I'm not wrong It is not an opinion, the one that I am giving. Is the reality, when they see the activity on the servers the amount of people who continued playing did not significantly differ. Most of the people who are complaining are based on the fact that many players are leaving the game, which is not true.
In the case of being dissatisfied with the change, this should be based on more real and concrete things like:
- These changes, condition the having to spend expensive troops decks. based on numbers of PVs and damage, reals.
-The flow of resources that I need to keep moving forward is impossible to achieve.

Do you have any prove? The facts that I see tell me that activity at high levels is going down.

Of the 100s of players I know through Line, only 1 posts on these forums. Based on that I believe this forum represents an insignificant portion of the player population.

I was enjoying the game but now even though I am going to or can still 4 or 5 star a base 20 - 40 levels lower than me, but an age higher, I run out of time and that was before all the base buffin going on now in stage 4. Sorry doing a good job protecting your army only to lose it do to time restraints is a turn off. It was challenging enough for me before rebalance, now its just sad and frustrating

I will check in but its now officially less often and no more spending.

I can't see how anyone would want to even bother with war when you consider how much more effort raiding is going to be unless the end goal is to force players to pay there way through the ages. Then you are not playing a game your buying your way thru a game, no point to that IMO

At least someone finds it challenging to lose the whole army when attacking a base 50 levels below his own level, when not using 4 troop cards, all mercs, tactics and generals.

seriously? 50 levels below you? are you like at level 303 so 50 below you is still 253? :D

Multiplayer has become less enjoyable for me. Not angry about it. Just don’t feel like it anymore because I don’t happen to find it as fun anymore to have train more troops and have my gameplay options limited further. It is what it is.

Let’s say 5000 people are playing the game and only 5 of them are posting at the forum. If 4 of them are angry about update and one is happy, that would generally mean that 4000 players are angry and 1000 are happy about update. That’s what I’m talking about when I say that we, posting players, represent the big part of the playing community.

I for one love these rebalance. I have played this game for a very long time, invested a lot of time, effort and of course money. Defence has always been behind and never in front at all which made my job very difficult. Yes I am a defender, yes I have a big level base. This type of changes are good for the game, it gives value for money, time and effort put into a base. It stops unskilled players from just overpowering a top defending base just with straight force and no skill. I say yes let's bri g on stage 4.

only the guys like you that have really high level bases are ok with this rebalance. Have you given any thought about all those low level players how are they doing?
In my alliance we have several and they really have a hard time doing battles even for loot. They are afraid of losing their army ONCE AGAIN and then log off. In WW they barely take 1 or 2 stars.
Yes, some of them need practice but overall, this game feels way too hard for newcomers. This is not how you raise your player base. This is how you diminish it...

Don't think only yourself because you will soon find that you and a few hundred people like you will be the only ones playing this game...Not fun eh?

Somewhere near, yes. I have lost the whole army though even on a lot lower level base than 250 since the re-balance. My secondary account (lvl 230) has seen 2 full defenses against 250+ accounts with full tactics and mercs. Im not that far from the truth, I believe

Rebalance fans keep focusing on their subjective opinion of ''I like defense so it's great'' aspect while completely ignoring the objective facts i.e. effects this overblowing of defense has on the game.

So, to recap, by blindly supporting this (also not giving any suggestions to tweak this so you support it without condition) you also support:

- killing attack game variety and making only 2 compositions viable to even touch a base
- completely breaking MP in high medals and making only abandoned bases viable to be attacked to sate NTG and diamond needs.
- complete p2winization of the game, before you would need the overpowered troop cards to get fast times (and even then Impi from Marco troop chests would do very well) now you need them to even have a chance. Also shortages of troop cards (mandatory now for every equal age attack) unless rubies and Marco Polo troop chests are increased
- making the game in wars and MP unplayable for casual players who don't take the time to analyze every troop, test compositions, tactics and strategies. That is the majority of the playerbase like it or not.

Finally, as hard as it is to admit for folks like you, this is an attacking game. The active part of the game is attacking. Defense is passive, the computer does it after you set up your layout, and the best layouts have already been found.
You make attack boring by either making you wait for retrain times of tactics, generals, planes and costs of mercs, or make you attack only rushed bases which becomes boring, or in the case of casual players make attacking a nightmare and make them useless. The end result is you make the game boring. And people leave.

If they had opted to make it harder and require more skill by removing the Strong Hold and troop cards from world war I would be very very happy.

The way it has been done really just weeks of a cash grab for troop cards. No thanks.

I won't be spending another cent.

It's nice to have a strong base that can withstand attacks but this is NOT a defensive game. If your priority is to defend your resources you're misguided, imo. What you might lose in defenses can be easily made up in one or two attacks.
And besides, what about when YOU want to attack?
Do you still like the changes to base defenses?
If you like defending and collecting RSS, l can recommend Gardenscapes.

As a lower level player someone who has recently moved up to Gunpowder Age (from a pretty maxed out Medieval base, mostly built before the rebalance thankfully) I fully agree with your comments. Its not just losing your troops but trying to gain enough resources is now a *very* long process that will now get even longer. Those that state 'just drop medals' miss the point that it gets to a point of diminishing returns. When it costs you nearly as much for your troops as you can gain from a battle.. That and the really lower level bases are riddled with cheats. I'm not a freeloader - I pay for crowns and took advantage of last weekend's double damage/hp event as much as I could - without that I was seriously considering my options. I'm watching with growing concern of where this is all heading to be honest. I don't buy into them shutting the game down, and I have a hope they rebalance the attacking troops to a point, rather that the lopsided unbalanced mess it seems to be turning into.

Alexey you would be right except that most of the 100s of players I know that are not posting on the forums are not complaining. Instead they are busy playing and finding enjoyment in new challenges. It seems that the complaining minority are flocking to the forums. Participation is not representation.
