rather than do it in, say, 5 stages over 2 monthes, it wouldve been better if you did it all at once and then held a rebalance-embracement-event where things like research and retraining gets done faster. youd hear a lot less groans, and its not like theres any point to doing it in stages anyway. you dont adjust anything in between rebalances, and even if you did, it wouldnt mean anything because rebalance2 and rebalance3 would be different games, and rebalance4 would be another different game. ‘data’ results from rebalance2 are meaningless after rebalance3. and ‘data’ results soon after a change doesnt mean much, youd have to check the ‘data’ after people have had a chance to adjust, and thats where that embracement event comes in.

Yes Tsamu. So much yes. But as it is at the moment, the only way I can fund my war machine is to prey on the very weak. It's as if they thought "people will spend more money" and didn't even factor in we would just drop medals and continue to carve through bases like butter. If I don't do this it takes literally hours and hours of grinding, and often for no result as I fail to get the 5 stars. The mind does boggle when you come across the odd global age account with MEDIEVAL defences. Like, hello!! Some bases you can clear with easily 2 minutes to spare and lose no troops.

Are animals also rebalanced?
Cause I remember having 6 bears a few days ago, now I only see 4 bears and other animals.
I didn't hunt my animals for the record 😑

Lmfao tin I think you meant to say you’re aiming at destroying your game. Show is a tread about people being happy about these changes. You can’t. It feels like these changes come to balance out the people that swear by research and the people that can’t be bothered. Research used to be key and now it’s waiting for nexons new updates to boost defences. For what defences got compared to offence It’s still off balance. Basically all offensive got was training cost and a few others that compared to defensive it doesn’t really mean much. If you really wanted to keep a strong strategy sense then take the troop cards out and stop trying to milk us with the over powered ones.

Lesalen , it's either 24 hrs or 20hrs, depends where you are. Unless they've changed it
For me it cycles every 20hrs and l experienced something similar to you. I used a retrain at the end of a cycle then 4 hrs later l got the retrain again. It doesn't cycle for 20hrs after the last retrain like l first thought, instead l have a 20hr period to use the retrain. If l miss it, too bad, but the cycle starts again.
So l think that's what happened to you. You used one halfway through a cycle and 12hrs later the cycle restarted and you could use one again.

But Tinsoldier you say FUN and challenging but you achieve only the second. Not the first. And it is the most important factor in a game. Is it not?

For us the core element of gameplay is simple: attack.
Fun and challenging is a great idea but lets make it something l want to do and is challenging enough to keep me coming back.
In other words, the next time the devs discuss ''fun and challenging'' l suggest they add incentive to play to the agenda.

Thanks for the reply and acknowledgement! If there's a key take away can you please try to get the constant in your face spending of $ while this major up heave is taking place. Few people want to spend time/$ because many are unhappy with where the game is being taken. Despite all the things that need fixing chat, matchmaking, general game play (order for combat bar, taking a number of items out of inventory, inter alliance chat, toggle options for alliance ranks, glory decay, leader board, could go on for quite a while) Nexon are focusing on rubbish and pushing us to spend on things now useless after re-balance. Please fix the basics before you push this junk through. So far cheaters still get 5 stars, great players now average, average players giving up slowly, below average are quitting.

1) The developers are really stupid and ignoring all the people who are fleeing the game.

2) The developers, who have access to all the data, know they are making as much if not more money than before.

Which one one makes more sense?

This is a whale-driven game. The whales just keep plunking down money, and the recent changes - designed specifically to make the game harder and require people to plunk down more money to play the same amount as before - only up their spend, because whales spend as much as it takes to play. Nexon knows this.

Those of us that don't have bottomless pockets, need to decide whether the game is worth playing, because Nexon proves time after time that they care only about the bottom line. Anything else they say is lip service and nothing more, and all the forum posts in the world won't change that.

I've moved on to other games, because I don't enjoy games where I'm going to lose because others outspend me. It's on me if I'm stupid enough to keep playing, or to believe that Nexon cares one iota if I post my complaints. I'm not a whale. They do not care if they lose me or others like me.

Animals don't need rebalance. I'm running a bear sanctuary, don't take my bears away.

The next design spotlight is going to cover changes to the remaining buildings, wonders, armored cars, and more!

TinSoldier Regarding the wonders, only HPs will change, or will the advantages of each one be adjusted depending on how much each one is used in the game?
In other words, is there the possibility that we have to adjust our attack/defenses/improvements strategies, to wonders with substantially different statistics?
