Season 8 - Readied Reinforcements

Get ready to reinforce the frontlines in Season 8: Readied Reinforcements! You can look forward to increased healing from Supply Carts with a reduction in their attack speed. APCs can have additional troops spawned, but have less hitpoints. Your Catapult towers will also shoot slower but deliver a devastating amount of damage to attackers. Ambush and Armored Ambush Traps will now spawn additional defenders to come to your Town’s aid! Also, the storage capacities of Caravans, Oil Wells and Farms has been increased. Once the Season ends, all extra stored resources will be lost, so be sure to claim often!

This Season begins 06/02 at 15:00 UTC and will end on 08/18 at 15:00 UTC.

Please make the increased storage capacity permanent!
I am literally begging the team to increase storage.
Average upgrade time in the higher levels is 10-15 days but the storage fills up within 2 days. Drives me crazy.
Some actual maths needs to be done by the development team to make it balance better.

Also please more upgrade slots for armory!
Either increase the slots or have generals upgradable elsewhere like directly at the fort. It’s too hard to upgrade all the units as well as get the generals to a decent level.

With IRB offered so often now, is the training time as relevant these days? (one of my alts has 91!)
Maybe this wonder needs a change?
 
That is nonsense. Have you ever thought 15 days ahead? Then only a small amount will be deducted from your larger storage capacity and you will be full again in 2 days. Should the storage capacity then be increased again? And again and again?
If you want to change something about the full storage, then you have to ask either (a) to shorten the times or (b) to increase the prices or (c) to make looting much more difficult, e.g. by reducing the basic values of the possible loot. This is the only way to do something about full storage in the long term.
But I don't see full storage as a problem. So be happy, it's much better this way than constantly empty storage and hours of fighting just to keep four workers busy!
Where do I vote for solution (a)?

There are so many bonuses in the game from library, museum, university, council etc. that reduces or increases different aspects of the game.
But building speed is one of the things that is hard to obtain. The only way is Burj al arab (if that bug has been fixed).
It would be nice with a new great leader or library research, where it was possible to get reduced building time.
I don't ask for a +50% reduction but 10-20% would be much appreciated, when many upgrades in auto. age takes 19 days to complete.

I was wondering this too, thought it was a daft question and I'd missed something really obvious so didn't wanna ask lol.
Caravans, Oil Wells and Farms would only increase their storage and not overall storage?
Can't see anything announced that would cause an overall storage bump.
 
That was actually an error on our end! Originally, there wasn't supposed to be a 35% boost for Mill, Markets, and Oil Refinery. But ya' know what? We're going to leave it in for the season!
what about APCs, will they be corrected?
the +2 troops were added to the wave deployment amount, not the max deployment amount as stated in the notes, thanks

My max oil capacity was 385,000 before the start of the event. Interesting that my actual amount of oil (about 320,000) increased as well.

I liked improving generals in the castle, if there is no thread on this subject I would recommend that you do it, I will gladly support it, (And the same goes for the increase in the capacity of resource buildings)
 
So there's a max with APC deployment? Spent about a week upgrading munition to get 2+ deployed troops and it appears to be getting me nothing, due to event?

Also does the same thing apply with the QV extra time, max amount? Will look to swap out QV time + artifacts if ao

Can you make the season events more challenging? It's a week into this season and I've completed all 12 segments already and collected all 62 rewards. 14 days left without challenges is boring. Why not make the segments more spaced out?
Also, can you make a button to collect all rewards? It's too much time involved in tapping all the time.

More storage means more resources. That means that while I wait 10 - 15 days for buildings to upgrade I am able to store more resources. Storing more resources means I have more available to spend when a new upgrade does become available.

For example, with oil, it costs 3 to upgrade my fort and 3 to upgrade my missile silo. It also costs 2.5 to upgrade my bomber and 2 to upgrade my drone.
If they finish at a similar time but I only have a maximum storage of 3 I can only upgrade one of those until I save more oil which means more waiting.
However, if I can store more it means I can upgrade more without having to wait because resources are generated faster than the storage buildings can store them which is competently unbalanced and also a waste of resource generation.

The aim was to highlight that the rate at which you can generate resources does not balance with the amount of resources you can store which seems pointless.

You’re absolutely right!

Some people on here think that we ask for more storage because we’re allergic to having full oil storage lol. And their brilliant solution is to ask for making looting more difficult so that our oil refinery doesn’t get filled up too quickly thinking that we start to have seizures or something once our capacity becomes full.

The problem is NOT that we have a full capacity; the problem is that that full capacity is only enough for ONE upgrade at a time. We know that even if the oil capacity is doubled we will still end up with full capacity, but at least then we can use that full capacity make TWO upgrades instead of ONE.
