Let's see... they already told us a "war wing" was coming soon to the museum, they have had many museum sales recently, and the recent batch of new artifacts are offense/defense focused rather than resources. I have no idea when it will arrive, but it seems clear they are working towards it...

Another stupid idea. No fun at all and you guys just thinking to make more money by make it more difficult rather than make it more fun and feeling enjoy. You place player under presure to buy more crown. Your strategy will make you die faster

On the one hand, I agree with the changes they are making, in which the great imbalance between attack and defense, which is in the game, would be partially corrected.
On the other hand, there are 2 things that are not correcting so far:
1) The game favored England and Germany, starting from global age, while disadvantaging Japan and Greece very strongly, Japan has no useful benefit in battle, and Greece with the appearance of very high level traps and the rocket arsenal , its only advantage in battle, the tanks, is useless. Germany being the only Nation, thanks to the theuronic fury that has a plus of attack in range sige and in all the factory troops, it became the only superior option in the Age of the Cold and Atomic War. The same happens with the advantage of +1 of reach in shooters, that has England, what turns it into an option of attack sumanete easy and unjust, is full of players England that only improved shooters and range sige.
These things and more produce a huge imbalance of numbers of players in each nation, which results in a lower diversity of types of attacks (which makes the game a bit boring), a shortage of certain national products, and that players of underrepresented nations receive a greater number of attacks.

-Recommend to disable the Teutonic fury in world war attacks, OR reduce the percentage in wars to 5%, to equilibrate nations

2) From the age of the illustration there are a number of extremely sub-improved bases, changing age should represent a certain challenge and permanence in age. See the following table. Clearly there should be a smaller number of players in each following Age, this is lost from the Age of the illustration due to the extremely lax limit of level to pass of age.

I've been Japan since the get go and I max out every single age before I move up.. I'm thinking I'm going to get a big buff form this.

However the amount of time it takes to max an age is too long and I hope the speed ups will be handed out more frequently for us grinders, because spending well over a years time on a single age is way too long IMO

I dont get it....i am an 'old skool' dominations player, started 3 years ago, without silo, uni, museum, and all that crap...it worked fine, it was great fun upgrading and actually see yourself getting stronger and stronger and getting better at hitting higher targets.
with every introducuction of new stuff, you managed to decrease some of the fun out of the game.
What once was a strategic game in which you had to look at wat the opponent could bring, many of those things are now hidden under the surface. I cannot assess someone's strength anymore, cause a tiny lvl 170 base can be as strong as an upgraded lvl 200 base with all that mumbu jumbo he/she can add to it through museum, library and uni...so alltho i am lvl 240, highly upgraded and actually can defeat every normal base thats in my lvl range, i can be defeated or loose my entire army on a lvl 170 base if he added enough stuff that i cant see.

whats wrong with deleting all those extra buildings with concealed power and just go back to stuff you can see? Give ppl stronger armies, better tanks, higher planes, more lvl's buildings, whatever, but make it visible for attackers to see what they are up against. And meanwhile give defenders the chance to upgrade more so they can really defend theirselves, even against higher lvl's.

speaking of which...i am cold war age, and i was hesitating a long time to go cw in the assumption i wasnt going to be able to attack global bases anymore....to my surprise you let cw ppl attack global ppl....thats 2 ages down!! How can global ppl defend against an upgraded cw ppl? (Unless they have all that undercover jumbo researched, which takes ages btw).

i.m.o you should focus on giving ppl more upgrade options for existing buildings and troops, divide the lapses between 2 ages in 2 so that you can have a better transition to the next age (at the end of an age and the beginning of the next age, you will be attacked about 100x more then you would be when you are just inbetween ages). I also would like to see more actual gameplay. I would like to be able to make groups of troops and rally them per group so that i can actually use whatever strategic thing comes in mind instead of just dumping my army and let it role...
i would also like to see a lot less upgrade times....14 days for an upgrade is just too long...at this point i dont dare to upgrade my walls to lvl 16, cause i know that when they are done, there is nothing i can do with my food and gold...investing them in upgrades that take 14 days? Hell, i can get up to 8 mil. Food/gold a day...where can i leave that?
It would be great if you would introduce a lot, smaller, less time consuming, visible upgrades to address that problem....could be uni upgrades, but then visible and with the need of less workers...

I dont recognize this in the game....what i do see is a lot of ppl just dont take the time necessarry to upgrade their bases to their new age, they just think they can upgrade their army and skip to the next age. As you proceed along the game, new tactics are necessarry to win. I am roman, lvl 240 and before the silo came, i would just dump my army on 1 spot and then it would win or loose...cause of the silo i had to alter my gameplay, i adapted certain strategies which allows ppl of lvl 180 (in my alliance), to actually defeat ppl with lvl 220 and up!! And thats no matter the country you choose to be...
What i do see in your figures, is that many just quit playing the game. This begins after gp age and gradually goes down. I think thats cause as from gp age, the time it consumes to actually build a base, is way too long....building times of 1, 2 weeks are way too long...there is no 'meanwhile'...once your workers are busy, you cannot do anything else but loot a bit (slowmo) for when your workers are finally done...
Thats also whats breaking the museum....i have been trying to get enough supplies to upgrade 1 louzy stinking thing to the next star for months now, but i cannot seem to get the 600 arches required, so what use is that museum althogheter? Same with university....it takes more then 2 yrs!!! To finish all stuff in uni IF you put at least half your workers inthere full time!! Thats just ridicolous!! And i bet thats the main reason ppl say goodbye to this game.

I really don’t understand the priorities at this company. Why work on this when there is such an obvious exploit with sandbagging wars. A legit and skilled alliance can win many wars and barely eek 100 glory points, but it only takes one war with a bunch of sandbaggers to drop you 700 points. It doesn’t make sense at frickn all. What’s the point of playing?

Coming up against lower bases that are hard is not that much of an issue imo, I think this gives the game a strategic element. Inversely, you have the ability to improve your troops so they can easily handle a lower base with hidden strength.
In a sense they are giving us more upgrade options for buildings and troops, just doing it via the Uni.
The issue, as I see it, is the ratio between defensive upgrades and attacking upgrades will be skewed towards defense.
This is aimed at increasing their ‘bottom line’ and alienating many more of us.

Maybe you are too good in attacking. But from my point of view, the game's defense is already over buffed. It is almost impossible to crash a late CWA base.
I am looking for opposite of your suggest.
Lower level requirement for ages. and buff in offense side

I also believe minimums on the Ages would of prevented this. Too many players rushed to Global or Atomic Ages to get the benefit of a stronger offense but their defense(base) can be destroyed by Medieval or Gunpowder Age players. They know they can’t go CW till level 220 or 230(I forget the min) so they end up quitting cuz they are stuck at Atomic for 2 years till they level up.

Idk if things changed but in today’s war that I’m in, our enemy is level 105 Atomic. What a joke. You shouldn’t be allowed to go Atomic till Lev 200 or so.

I understand the concept of making defense buildings and other buildings get more hp so it takes longer to destroy. It’s sort of like adding a permanent coalition making what’s listed in chart a lot more stronger which in turn takes longer to destroy and less attacks are 5*. I see the quick star thrown out the window at first(if in fact these attacks are still under same time limit).

The spenders that can throw 4 extra armies each worth 40 troops so that’s 150 normal troops plus 160 extra troops= 300+ troops so that’s pretty tough to defend against. I hope you didn’t get your stats based on that cuz that’s not the norm. Most of us want to 5* without extra armies of troops from stronghold.

Quick comment on planes. The fighter planes are very weak even at mk6 through Global Age. If you want them to survive the battle then you need Americans coalitions as the SAMs and towers and of course the air def are fairly powerful as is before buffing them up on the 20th. In Atomic they can gain some HP help from university upgrades. The attack is not ridiculously too strong until CW Age at mk6 as 5 of those fighters can take out missile silo and lots of other buildings on first strafe. No need to have bombers if your fighters can do that. Just pointing out that you do not need to fix all Ages as not all are overpowered as you think they are.

I know my comment isn’t going to stop you from going forward with your plan but as others have already mentioned, if you make it so tough that it feels like players need to spend, then they take a break from playing or retire.

These guys have pointed out a lot of good points so far. I hope you take into consideration what they are saying. As you already know it’s incredibly difficult to keep long time players playing.

You must be lvl 150 to be AA. So your lvl 105 AA opponent is just a glitch. Probably that guy did not update his war base and his real level is much higher. See his MP base.

The reality is that the defense is very behind, regarding the attack. Moreover, with the latest update that allows an improvement over all the troops of the factory. Giving an unparalleled advantage to Germany with respect to other nations. That's why Nexon is trying to rebalance attack / defense.
In the current game, a player of Atomica age level 160-170, only improving some troops has a very high probability of defeating an opponent atomic age or cold war level 200-230 (more if it is germany or britain). Which is not right, that level difference implies approximately 1 year of play.

This will be a bloodbath amongst average players that have troubles making stars while attacking. The game is already difficult enough due to the numerous defenses. Buffing those will make it impossible.

Good players will adapt and find other ways to have victory!

Strange that Nexon "rebalance" this game after 3 YEARS !

if you feel defense is weak, it is simply because you not yet maxed defense, and it is because defense take too long compared to offense.
Defense is over powered when it is maxed, compared with maxed offense

Lol if u guys dont want to spend on the game its easy..do it the old school way and upgrade everything before u go up the next stage

At a neutral point of view, think about those people who have been diligently upgrading everything only to have those who pay cash and upgrade fast to higher ages destroy them easily.

Those people never complain anyway since they are definitely strong for their age..once they go higher ages they can destroy any cash players their age.

now that nexon balance everything up to reward their patience in playing the game u guys just go crazy about how hard it is to play and stuff..seriously..has it not been unfair enough that cash decides the battle? If u dont want to feel like its hard to play start upgrading important stuff and.stop taking the short cut route to be strong..otherwise..pay more to instant upgrade the important stuff since u like to pay cash to be stronger fast..simple as that

honestly..i believe those who have been upgrading everything diligently wouldnt be affected much by this "rebalancing" thing..they paid off by being patient..only u impatient guys will complain as u wan things fast

Did some math. In a maxeed base, the rebalance adds 62 k HP to the total of defense buildings. Significant, but not a game changer in my opinion. Is like add 3 new strong buildings. Probably, the boos on traps, mortars and anti tank guns damage will make more difference.
