Walls maxed (lvl 18), now what?

I’m a lvl267 Space Age player and still have much defensively to upgrade. However, I spent much time sniping for loot while waiting for citizens to free up from long defensive upgrades. Over time, all of my walls are orange and all but two citizens are always busy upgrading. Now I’m frustrated when logging on as there not much I can do daily. I’m hoping that the digital age comes sooner than later. Fearful I will get burnt out waiting with not much to do on a daily basis.

If you're bored, climb the medal league, see if you can hang with the big dawgs. Or maybe learn how to attack savage bases without any TTs.

Nothing. The issue of long upgrade times, maxed resources, and little reason to log in for days, or weeks, at a time has been around since industrial age. There seems to be zero motivation on the developers' part to address it.

They should just let us buy one hour speedups for a substantial amount of food/gold, say 5-10,000,000, or a % of an age's max, maybe 75-90%. This would mitigate several long running issues and with upgrades taking 336 (global) to 396 (space) hours and there being dozens of upgrades per age the impact to Nexon's bottom line would be negligible.

Though it seems post-rebalance that they actually want us to play less, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

If your museum isn't maxed I would just start dumping resources into it. With the massive amount of oil the war wing takes and the unintuitive, cumbersome design of the whole thing it can keep you occupied for quite some time. Hey, you said you wanted to keep busy you never mentioned having fun while doing so.

Not that easy, I maxed out the wall and spent put all my citizens to work even spent a good chunk of crowns to speed things up so I could spend some resources. I leave all of the oil outside and still no attack in 18 hrs. Seriously, come get it and pay it forward when you can.

The attack pool must be massive in kingdom, I could see if you were high empire or dynasty people might not be interested in dropping medals for resources. Ive spent a lot of time in kingdom and have never seen antthing like that

Sniping storehouses for trade goods is a perfectly serviceable way to pass the time if that is what you are looking to accomplish. I know that for me, using my town center to farm peace treaties always leads to a shortage of trade goods (especially diamonds), so there is a practical benefit.

Keep a training blessing active and train a mix of infantry, raiders, engineers, armored cars and maybe some bazookas. When your storehouse is full of trade goods, choose some blessings to spend them on.

What’s the point of climbing medals really? I’m at 4,100 and I get attacked by hackers daily. I report them where they’re clearly using the Matrix still and have their entire base under construction. CS says thanks and that they’ll take swift action. I check them out a week later and they’ve done nothing. And they circle back and attack me over and over.

After spending 4 months in Dynasty league I have not been hit by any 1 Troop drop hackers, however I have seen numerous "Unlimited citizens" bases.

Wait, I think you missed the point. The attack pool is so large in kingdom that noone is seeing your base. If you drop further the pool will get even larger. If you want to have your loot taken you should go to empire, I will sometimes see the same base twice in a day. There is one abandoned base that I swear ive hit 3 times in the last week.

Wait for level 19 walls. Almost every century has 2 new levels. So have to wait for level 19.
