Hi everyone,
I'm a new member in the forums and new to the DomiNations game as I just downloaded the game on the 27th of September and have been obsessively playing every day since then. Today while playing the game I noticed that the game crashed. When I tried to restart the game, I receive the message that I've been banned for 3 days due to "suspicious activity." I hope someone can help (if this is the right forum for this kind of question). I've spent already dedicated way too much time playing the game and to build up my Village, so I was shocked, confused, and angry to discover that I was banned for doing nothing more than playing the game!
I wrote a message to Nexon with an attached image of the "banned" message i received, this is the message I received from Game Master Enrique:
Have I just been accused of cheating or hacking? I'm a PhD student in 19th century literature and art history; i don't know anything about programming, let alone hacking. I still don't understand what I'm exactly i'm being accused of. I haven't done anything, but play the game. I play everyday: i engage in battles, I build up my city, etc. If I need crowns I've been going to the Store to complete offers in order to get them. I've now downloaded and played so many games (some worse than others, though I'm now really into the fInal fantasy: new empire) just to be awarded these crowns. Besides this, i haven't done anything!
I've spent hours and hours playing this game and playing other games in order to be rewarded crowns. This is a lot of time spent and dedicated. Now I've been rewarded with a ban for suspicious activity. Clearly, someone's "careful investigation" wasn't careful enough since I absolutely nothing wrong.
I'm a new player. I've been wrongly accused of something I didn't do (something that I don't even know how to do or even capable of doing). And Game Master Enrique has just completely closed the case, denying any further discussion because "it has been explained in detail." Is this really how Nexon treats customers and patrons of their products?
Someone please help. I want to get this sorted out and more than anything I'd like an apology for this unjustified accusation.

Please be advised that your Village was found in violation of our Terms of Service by manipulating the use of resources where they are being used for expenses without the the total resource count dropping accordingly. After careful investigation it was decided upon that the said village be temporarily banned and other sanctions applied and just for further info on this, these decisions and actions made based on the violation are final and irrevocable so we do suggest from avoiding such actions in the future as heavier sanctions will be applied if done again. Do understand as well that this matter will no longer be discussed further as it has been explained in detail. |
