Umm no it still needs some kind of level requirements. Otherwise we would have Iron age accounts upgrading to Space age lmao...

Lv 250 would be reasonable. Hope it's not much higher than that.

I surely hope that is not the case. Maybe all of the good coders and game designers have been working on the Space age and the Rise of the Heavy Tanks release was done by interns.

I'd very much like to find plenty of bases in CWA that have defense of Iron Age. Don't forget, this decision should be ours. You rush too much, you earn some things from the next Age but be prepared to be raided heavily and very often by the big folks. But if some players are ready to pay that price, why would we stop them?

Interesting, I don't disagree with that logic Saruman. That logic just doesn't play to BGH's advantage though, because they bank on setting level cap requirements. Level requirements makes it so that players are obligated to upgrade a certain number of levels/buildings. If a player wants to rush to have CWA/Space Age troops, for example, they must pay $$$. Which in turn is good for our overall game health and game economy. More $$$ means more development ( hopefully).

Saruman.. then you would find alliances with iron players that have espace age troops. Doing matchmaking in wars more difficult for some / more interesting for others. I can see people very happy as would open new team strategies for wars (basically being able to upgrade sandbags). Others very upset with it. I magine being an alliance of atomic players and being matched with and alliance of 25 espace age players. Half full defense and half iron age with espace age troops. That would be so unfair..

not possible. Don't forget the level requirement for CWA which is 220. Unless they also remove that.

Lvl 260 would be about 5400 players currently. That’s not many.

Space age without 2 new nations ,American and Russian will be not in keeping with dominations history correctness
so hopefully we will see the race to the moon with these 2 new nations in space age update :)

If there is not a MASSIVE boost in troop power or the ability to still attack global no one will be interested in moving up an age.
Agreed about the boost in power. Otherwise it's just the same mechanics with a facelift.
And the same week-long upgrades with one change: they'll be week-longer!

Any chance we could get the level requirement in advance? It would allow us to prepare, and you guys would get a nice revenue boost as people scrambled to reach that level.

The minimum level to move to space age should be close to 280. Lower values would cause the pool of CWA players to empty. And in addition, they would provoke to be filled with sub-improved bases, as what happened with the low threshold that there is to change to atomic age.

23030169
24018882
25010730
2605510
2702675
2801314

Number of the actual CWA players: 32015

If the minimun level to move to the space age is 250, the Nunver of CWA players will down in a 33%, this is a serious mistake.

I think it will be in the 260 to 275 range. People have been mentioning 250 (wishful thinking?), but I think that is unlikely.

Its a logical range. And yes, the game is full of wishful thinkers

Xabar Alternatively, now would be a great time to lower the CWA bar down to 180, and let all of those Atomics grinding away move up. Set the Space age bar at 220 where CWA already was. And not release a bunch of new content for less than 2000 players at 280, or less than 6000 players at 260. The smaller the player pool, the worse the game.

Also, TinSoldier - can you confirm back end changes have been being made to MP matchmaking in anticipation of this? As a cold war, I haven't seen any global age players in matchmaking today at all. And atomics now appear to be giving a reduced number of fragments to cold war players - maxing at 10 for 5* on one age down, a bit more with some hannibal research done. It used to be that they were treated as same age attacks, with a max of 40. Just want clarity if that has changed / is the intent moving forward.

You cant down the minimun level when it was a limitation to the actual cwa players.
it is seriously unfair for them. And they play for more 3 years.
The number of players in each Age must have a piramidal distribution. Only a small proportion of players Only a small group of players should be able to move to space age at the beginning, poblational logic.
