so now that we can change nations i was wondering which nation..........romans...everyone says they have worst unique unit because infantry are dps so their small hp boost is useless. people love the 10% army size boost and im seeing tons of romans in the top medal players........on the other hand players like whatwhat who seems to have his finger on the pulse if the game is itching to switch to french. french cav is one of the better unique units(tied with jap and german infantry?) and 15% faster army creation is on par with roman 10% army size. u wont have the raw power in army size. but ull replace losses....combined with a good cavalry to further reduce casualties u might be able to fight more battles in a given hour of gameplay. the reason i say might be able to fight more battles per hour because romans 10% bigger army means ull roll through enemy bases faster which also reduces casualties. and with higher hp infantry romans would probably suffer fewer casualties in battle so not need the french 15% faster build time........the third nation im considering is germans. my understanding is german unique infantry have same stats as japanese infantry. but i dont know how much stronger the infantry are compared to normal infantry. is their dps 20% higher? because if its in the order of that magnitude than the speed with which germans destroy buildings and walls combined with more frequent rally may give the most offense and in turn reduce casualties the most. what do u guys consider to be the best of the 3 and why?

Nothing on Chinese?

Just pulling your leg. My guess I would go with French for the faster army creation.

1) You actually save crowns if you use crowns to speed up the creation.
2) I hate waiting for the army to be replaced. Simple as that.

Just my crazy brain thinking aloud.

if its just 10% dos increase for infantry only for germans but entire army 10% increase for romaans(dps and health and bonus health for infantry) then i think romans get that one. granted roman 10% for entire army requires u to build extra troops vs german 10% on dps only means u build army faster. less troops a little easier to micromnage. also since roman dps comes from more troops that means more catapult redoubt damage. little longer to deploy. and u still have the rally...hmm

FYI on Germany, may be different for others, but I've never had the rally perk. Even after the update it's still 30secs. Gunpowder age troops have 364health 253dps

Their Vandal unit seems to have same stats as the Japanese Bushi/Samurai.

Roman special is the best. You don't need to use their unique unit to be effective.

French special is tied for the most useless, but great if coupled with a training blessing. If you don't know how to use cavalry, or don't like cavalry. It will be the worst nation along with Greece. Both these nations received a bonus to lower age play, so they are viable in every age now.

German special is next to Romans as the best. Coupled with the library upgrade, its awesome. Unique is the same as Japanese, but the rally bonus makes them better

German special is not broken, and never was. 35 minus 5 = 30. Not 25
Fucking numbnuts dont know basic math

There is nothing wrong with Chinese, Greeks, Japanese or British. It comes down to how YOU like to play the game

Settle down guy. Thought 30secs was standard. Regardless, after switching to the Romans, the Germans unique was definitely better. The Romans extra troop space blows the extra 5sec German rally out of the water though.

the real problem is that the nations aren't balanced. I don't care that it costs crowns to switch although 600 is too much for the first. They need to balance the nations. It is very apparent that all that matters as you go up is offense of defense and not economics. This is the problem. Greeks, therefore, suck.

I'd like to point out that while the Chinese unique is the worst. That one extra villager is more useful than some people think, if you have an odd number job (forest, towers) you now have 2 spare villagers. That means you can mine, harvest or upgrade a farm / caravan

If it's the only villager that's idle, you now have someone that can upgrade walls whenever you want.

So you can constantly raid and just max your walls out. Other nations will have to stop raiding at some point because they cant spend their resources, and have to wait to upgrade walls.
I guess he's the guy that built the great wall of china :)

Personally don't like it, but trying to be objective.

French bonus + blessing pretty much means you have zero wait time to train units
German bonus + library upgrade means they have a 25 sec cooldown and about half that time they are in rally mode

The greek bonus suck past iron age. There is nothing that compliments it. If someone is aware of something, please share

so angry....everyone can play how they want. i could roleplay with no walls or defense structures but it wouldnt be recomended. there are certain things that are effective and get u enlightenment in reasonable amount of time. and then theres things that are ineffective like upgrading farms caravans roads. u can do it...but its slowing u down.....theres nothing wrong with chinese, british, greeks except their not as good as romans, germans, french. out of curiosity why would 15% faster army build be tied for 2nd worst nation bonus?

One reason is that it's one of the two nation bonuses (along with Greeks) that can be completely negated by gems.

Sheesh..it all boils down on how you play this game. How can you say that French and Greek unique are worst when they have the best tank in the game especially now that cavalry are OP. Japanese samurai far out damages the Romans and Germans (have to confirm this). But en mass couple with healing, they can wipe walls and base easily. It's the versatility of each nation that gives spice to this kind of game. I'm tried of seeing whining kids comparing this to coc.. COC hello is like how many years now compare to this game. Of course it has bugs and such since this is a new game..In time developers will eventually fix this. so quit whining you bunch of KIDS.. Don't like this? go back to boring COC and never post in this forum again,.

ohhh. im a lowly non gem player so didnt think of it from that angle. well much of the game becomes pointless when ur buying ur way through it rather than grinding. but someone has to support the game so its all good
