Revolution - British, German or any other nation

I play Germans on my main and British on my second. British are much more fun.

Could you elaborate the reasons for that?

Because I can just decimate bases an age above me with a quick and easily trained army.

Here's some advice. If you're looking to change nation check your defensive logs. I found British have around a 20% better clearance rate than any other nation. I'm guessing you'll find the same.

I checked those logs, no real pattern there. Not everyone is British. Some are Romans, I guess the additional troops draw them to Rome.

I have Chinese. Well rounded nation. Good for starters and moderately active players. I'm just gonna stay as it until I can't continue with it.

My primary account has gone from Chinese to Roman to British. My secondary went from German to French. Of those 5 British are the best by far.

How good the nation also depends on the age you use them, right?

Tomson To some extent. Once you reach Medieval Age the best troop mix is Ranged Siege, Ranged Infantry, Heavy Calvary, Supply Vehicle. The best nation for this mix is British. This continues to be the best troop mix at least through Global Age. The only other setup that seems to work at all at Global is Tons of heavy tanks with all research done on them with lots of air support. For the tons of heavies and planes German has the advantage. But still 95% of my defenses are against the RS, RI, HC, SV attacks.

Germans don't do much for players at the lower Ages. They are a War machine nation. Great for higher Ages that war all the time.

If the 15% bonus includes planes then it is indeed a very solid bonus. Plus keep in mind that not only the rally is longer... but the cooldown is shorter before you can activate the next one. From a tactical standpoint of playing the game and ordering your troops around, the Germans seem by far the best choice.

German fury works on PLANES, MERCS, DONATED TROOPS, GENS and EVENT TROOPS. Every single troop that you send to the battlefield.

It depends...... There are ways to counter the shooter battalion at the later ages. I have done it numerous times. There are a few cleverer ones that get what they hit me for, but most times I have been successful.

But if you are talking EA and below, yes... they are king of looting. Especially the British shooters.

I went against the grain back then too when everyone said to choose the French.
French is awesome in quick raids. But I'm a war guy. I went with the Germans too. It is more my style.

Revolted finally to become German and boy, do I love the rallies. Troops seem to be supercharged

With the new update I think Germany will be in an even better spot. Commando attacks may be worthwhile, and I think Germany has always been the the most flexible in troop usage which is what makes them interesting to me.

I have to say, I enjoy playing the Germans far more than British. Maybe that's just my play style. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
