What's everyone's favourite combo (and why?) when it comes to outfitting your units and defensive buildings with manufactory munitions? :)

I have yet to add munitions to ALL my troops & towers, but I'll list what I have and then when others chip in we can fill up the list for all the other positions:

Barracks:
Infantry:
Patrol Raider:
Combat Engineer: Adaptive Camouflage
Field Mortar:
Attack Helicopter:
Rifleman:
Tank: Communications Relay + Explosive Rounds
Artillery:
Supply Convoy:
Assault Vehicle:

Factory:
Machine Gun: Obstruction Transmitter + Field Kit
Heavy Tank: H.T.E. Rounds + Braced Plating
Armored Car:
MRL:
Infiltrator: Obstruction Transmitter + Adaptive Camouflage
Bazooka: H.T.E. Rounds + Field Kit
APC: Rapid Deployment Radio
Tactical Helicopter:

Airstrip:
Fighter: DRFM Jammer + Ejection Seats
Transport: DRFM Jammer + Composite Lining
Bomber:
Recon: DRFM Jammer + Composite Lining

Defense:
Tower: L.R.E. Optics + B.D.A.R. Tools
Air Defense: L.R.E. Optics + B.D.A.R. Tools
Anti-Tank Gun: L.R.E. Optics + B.D.A.R. Tools
Mortar: L.R.E. Optics + B.D.A.R. Tools
Machine Gun: L.R.E. Optics + B.D.A.R. Tools
Sniper Tower: L.R.E. Optics + B.D.A.R. Tools
Bunker: Rapid Deployment Radio + Emergency Alert System
Garrison: Rapid Deployment Radio + Emergency Alert System
Rocket Arsenal: Rapid Deployment Radio + Emergency Alert System
Tank Depot: Rapid Deployment Radio + Emergency Alert System

you may add: Transport: DRFM Jammer + Composite Lining
This is an easy decision, as there are only these 2 types of munition

How exactly does the Field Kit work when it comes to the "Healing Received +10%" benefit?

Does healing always work automatically on units equipped with the Field Kit, or is this just bonus healing that only kicks in if there is a Supply Convoy (Healing Truck) nearby or someone uses the First Aid tactic?

The 2nd one - healing received from any source.

Many thanks!

If you had to choose between the two, which one would you add to the Infantry unit: Obstruction Transmitter or Field Kit?

I've added the obstruction transmitter to mine - -8% damage while moving makes sense since this unit is always moving.
Also added the explosive rounds just to see the splash damage in action. The rest of the levels are pretty good too, might as well level up when my towers are done.

The question is... is this unit always moving? :) Unlike tanks for instance (which only go for defensive buildings so they might travel a bit between one target and the next), the infantry unit will simply target the nearest building. *Any building*. So once it gets to the nearest one there is a high chance it won't have to move much since it will only go towards the nearest (*any) building.

If not for the "-8% damage while moving" benefit would you still go for the Obstruction Transmitter?

Just my experience - everyone has a different take on things - but let's say the troop is targeting a farm and the tower next to the farm is shooting at the troop? I imagine it's taking hits while it's heading to the farm.
Anyway, since l don't use healers, the transmitter works better for me - the field kit would just have 2 wasted levels. Plus the transmitter has better hp and DPS bonuses.

Good point, unlike my saboteurs who are equipped with the manufactory item that allows them to remain "invisible" to enemy defensive buildings for something like 10 seconds... the Infantry unit will be targeted instantly once within range. So you're right - it makes sense to protect them on their way to the target, plus the other bonuses are better as well if you don't use healers.

King, what two munitions would you give to the Supply Convoy? :)

There are only 3 available options so I assume the Obstruction Transmitter will take up one slot, which then leaves the choice between Braced Plating vs Composite Lining for Slot #2.

Which one would you choose (of course in this case damage bonuses are irrelevant as the Convoy doesn't do any damage...)?

What I would give the supply convoy is: a pair of slippers to put his feet up and watch as the rest of my troops get the job done. 😁

I liked the healers in the early stages - especially with shooters and artillery - but the higher you go, firepower is more important in my opinion.
But don't just listen to me - there are other, more serious, players out there that can likely give better reasons for using healers. (& the munitions that work best)

ps: probably the braced plating if you have 2 or more healers, so they can also get healed, just in case?? 🤷‍♂️
