In the real world we sell are food to other country’s then buy what we need they could let you sell food and gold for oil. They could let you gift it to the people in the alliance that might get more people into alliances . I’m done with my wall and library I have 2 buildings that need food then that’s taped out. The university take small amounts for long research times.
What ever they do it should not take are workers to do it.

Don't worry, they will surely add visual stuff like statues or flags, but for crowns or cash ;)

I'd say you should be able to purchase 1 hour speed ups for 10,000,000 gold/food. Whatever the maximum storage for global age is. Global is roughly the age where our upgrade times really far outstrip our ability to max walls with daily gameplay. I could see an argument for not allowing this until atomic given the tremendous gap between atomic and cwa eligibility. If you really wanted you could even add an element of that famous Nexon RNG to the purchase of speed ups, just as long as there's a reasonable bare minimum.

Let's put this in perspective. I just started my Heavy Tank mk. 7 upgrade today. 15 days = 360 hours. Suppose I'm now inclined to play enough to max(or hit whatever threshold) my food and gold once each per day. It would still take 180 days to earn enough speed-ups to blast through one CWA upgrade. But, the clock will be ticking the whole time while I'm earning the loot to buy speed-ups. What do you know? Now late game players actually have a reason to play, the archive is more than the laughing stock it currently is, and people may be more inclined to crown rush key buildings when they can reduce their timers to a more palatable number. Seems like a win all around. By all means, introduce cosmetic stuff too.

i like the RNG idea; a little game every time you reach some resource ceiling.
i'd be happy with a small speedup most of the time, and a rare exceptional speedup.

Yeah, figured throwing an element of RNG in there would drum up more interest than the same flat rate everytime. If they wanted to be jerks about it they could make one hour the base at 50% odds, then have 30 minutes at 25% and the rest of the times at whatever percentages. As long as active play was rewarded with the very rare 3-5 day speed-up and people felt like they were getting at least one hour more often than not, I see no problem with adding some randomness to it.

Hell, even a half hour is better than the nothing we get now. In that scenario I'd like to see speed-ups be used for training of heavy tanks, generals, airplanes and tactics too.

They really have a chance to make the archive one of the better additions to the game instead of the ornament it is now, and mitigate a lot of longstanding complaints about training/build times and useless resources while they're at it.

I like it, although for many resources I think the time discount needs to be baselined at 6 or 12 hours or more for a maxed out storage, and should probably be available at least starting in industrial (which is where upgrades start getting to be more than a week each).

But then, I think they should shorten the game so dramatically that a new player could be in atomic in less than 6 months with a pretty good base. That would solve a lot of the problems we have with not enough players. This would just be a little gift to their most active players, it wouldn't move the overall needle much either way.

I dunno, I personally haven't encountered too many industrials with maxed out walls and nowhere to sink their resources. Though I'm all for giving more players more options. And yeah, it does nothing to correct the issue of unbalanced wars due to an atrophied player base and too much time to become viable for them. That's an even more important but separate issue. This just gives people who have invested lots of time and/or money a reason to log in. Personally I refuse to play the too-frustrating NTG scavenger hunt game. When I run out of them I just opt out of wars for a week or two until my normal oil raiding replenishes them. This merely provides a small reason to log in daily when I'm in the midst of another interminable 15 day build with max food/gold and no workers free for awhile.

10-12,000,000 seems like a good baseline for an hour speed-up with a **chance** to get more. The truly hardcore could probably convert that into 6-8 hours a day and even the semi-casuals could easily get 2. Nexon would never go for us shaving 6 or 12 hours a pop for less than one training blessing worth of looting, maybe with the pre-museum economy, but certainly not now.

My gold was maxed earlier today. I started an anti-aircraft gun upgrade for 6,000,000 gold. Now about 4 hours, 4 raids and collecting from my caravans later I'm full again

Gold is far too trivial in late game to reasonably expect much more than an hour baseline with a slight chance at something more, methinks. That said, the baseline has to be high enough to where people don't just easily cash out every night before logging off and stagnate the economy. This is much more relevant to food than gold though. I don't foresee a need to implement an oil version of this. If you're literally swimming in oil then you've probably reached Peak Dominations and don't need much in the way of incentives at that point. Would love to hear from some of those folks though.

I don't think players cashing out each night will be a problem; anyone with max walls isn't raided that often, so their contribution to the economy is minimal. On the other hand, if we give them something that makes it worth their while to raid a lot more, they might suck a lot of gold out of game and make it harder for other players.

"marco polo's foregn travels treat": RNG variety of everything chest that nexxon can tweak, but including a (chance of?) speedup.

... thematic, already engineered, and dissappointing enough to be reasonable.

I have maxed walls and I get nipped around the edges all of the time since I haven't protected gold and food very much since enlightenment age. Probably also has something to do with my farms and caravans perpetually overflowing too.

even if the baseline is pretty high, it would still stagnate the economy. ie when the new level of factory arrived, there was a temporary decrease in oil for everyone. perhaps there should be a cooldown to limit how often you could convert to speedups.

and if an oil version is implemented, i would use it. i have a rushed base at lvl 240 with a rocket arsenal and lvl 60 generals defending my lvl 5 mortars.

As long as they don't require workers, or if they do, let it be for 0 secs, like the walls.

Isn't that very similar to gardenscapes?
Why don't they just allow us to do what many people have asked for over the years, trade rss at a global market to trade anything from NTGs to supplies or even help alliance members?

Because helping alliance members means a CWA could loot for each lower account alt. I wish that was possible. And if we could trade RSS who would pay crowns for them anymore? Nexon must eat!

How about trees? I would like to create a park in the middle of my base. I want to plant them, move them, even chop them down. It would be nice to have a variety as well. They should not interfere with attacking troop movement any more than trees around the edge of a base do.
