National Troops, is there a point anymore?

So,

With all the re-balancing, is there a point to using any of the national troops anymore? Clearly Nexon is pushing the factory troops hard, as the net result of everything so far is somewhere around the realm of.

1.5x damage for Factory Troops
3x HP for defenses
No change to Barracks Troops

So each nations unique unit is 1/2 to 1/3 as useful as it used to be. They will be dying faster and doing less before they do so.

I can still kind of see using one of the special rifle units, as they are still around 1/2 as useful as before.

But tank and infantry specials are almost worthless now having gotten no buffs, and with the huge increase in HP and Damage for defenses they are no longer capable of either quickly clearing defenses or surviving to 'tank' damage.

So the end result is that barracks troops are pretty much completely done, and maybe 1/3rd of the national troop types could be useful on the attack.

Does this mean that only the Germans really have a useful national special because their bonus still affects Factory Troops?

German foot soldiers are kinda obsolete now. I am experimenting with different troop combos but so far have found none that is cost efficient.
I will do some attacks today to check how things are working now but I guess that we all need to upgrade our HTs if we want to stand a chance now, even in mp.

Still useful somewhere before heavy tanks age lol. My alts loot with all German Enlightenment soldiers, and French Industrial tanks.
Tbh, really honest opinion about rebalance, it doesn't affect multiplayer.

my french tanks are +40% hp, +20% dps from artifacts and they are still useful for multiplayer raiding below 2500 medals.
it's harder, but on easy bases the difference isn't such a big deal.

above 2500 medals, or a certain amount of glory in ww ... they are no longer effective.
