Detachments are here! I believe they are going to change the gameplay of Dominations forever. They are a very simple concept but will take a while for people to master.
I've hopeful that they will add some more variety to the meta and make more troops compositions more viable.
The new user interface is cool but seems that you have to now scroll FURTHER to get between your planes and tactics?!
How has everyone else found a use for them?
What do you think needs tweaking?
Personally I think the troop capacity for each one should be larger!
Please discuss it here, I'm eager to know!
This is what I've found out so far. hopefully useful for some:
I don't usually use so many distinctive English expressions on English forums, mostly because I'm not fluent in the language. So, this time I'm going to use Google Translate to describe the new game update with "that detachment thing." WHAT A PIECE OF SH...
If nothing else, there are as many distractions on the screen when attacking as you wish. It's impossible to see the enemy base due to the amount of useless information you're facing in front of you. Far from being helpful, detachments are a hindrance! The way you organize with them, due to the limited number of troop types they allow, is disastrous. So much so that it's actually useless.
I've been on the verge of quitting the game for quite some time now due to the terrible changes they've made from the start to troop strength and health, along with the chaotic museum and the capricious councilors, but this is the final straw.
In my opinion, it's a game with zero playability in battles. It's only fun at first, for younger ages; after that, it's a case of who's luckiest with the items and the councilors. That's another thing, the museum. What a crappy interface for searching for new items. What do they think? I can spend all day tapping the screen and wasting my eyes on that interface, only to end up with nothing positive? It's one thing to be distracted by games that offer little, and quite another to be "deceived" by the changes they've made.
Not to mention the scam I got at the beginning with the misleading advertising about buying extra houses!!!!
I overlooked even that, but this, that chestnut about the detachments, far from helping, makes the little bit of interest I had left, finally dissolve. As Eddie Murphy said in "The Golden Boy," you keep your shit, I'll keep mine. (I think so, it was in "The Golden Boy")
Have a nice day!!!!
