Loss of progress - Cities rolled back in time

Earlier today (8/15/18) we had a brief server blip which seems to have reverted progress on some player's bases. While these servers blips happen from time-to-time, usually they just involve players briefly being unable to log in, and then are resolved moments later.

We are currently investigating the issues that are causing bases to lose progress.

Thanks for letting us know. Sometimes BHG Support have tried to pretend nothing is wrong. But with discord, the word soon spreads. So thank you for having the courage to admit bad news.
i suggest everyone take SCREENSHOTS of their current base setup.

Happened to me as well. However, while some things rolled back, other things remained the same. For instance, my Attack history showed the correct level of soldiers that I had and the roll back showed that they were not upgraded yet. I think that a good faith offering of 2,500 Crowns would be nice gesture to loyal game players after this gets corrected. Especially those of us who actually spent some real money on upgrading.

TinSoldier Any idea how many bases were affected? nervous to get home and check. Hopefully the affected can have things restored because that is really a BigHuge deal I would also hate to lose all the grinding that went into the rush event. Spent almost 0.5M oil on upgrades, nevermind all the $ in walls/gates and other buildings etc. ouch

Once a month screen shot of your city is always a good idea to have. It really does help Customer Service when they have something more than your word to work on. I made a screen shot after reading this post and deleted the one I made on the 1st.

I would hope that players were compensated for their loss if their cities can not be restored to the last level they had reached.

I was in level 79 but i somehow got demoted to level 69 and it is very frustrating I hope they restore my base or i will uninstall the game becae it really pissed me off

So now anytime I try to check in, I get "Good news! A new version of the game is available" and a button to update... with no new updates on android play.
