Can’t get to my “real” account after switching to new iPad

I got a new iPad last week. Transferred everything over from my old iPad and wiped the old one. Started up Dominations on the new iPad this weekend and was forced into a tutorial. Did what seemed like all the tutorial but it was tough to tell and now stuck with a stone age account instead of being able to get to my space age account. I tried the help but it does not reflect the current code in the game. It says you can link by getting a code from old account which I can get from my iPhone but all I get instead of a code is that for a new iOS device, game center will take care of it all. Unfortunately, it doesn’t. Tried contacting customer service from within the app on the new device and got back a clip of the old unhelpful help process. Has anyone found a good solution to this process? I was thinking about maybe deleting the stone age account on the new iPad and see if game center would get me where I need to go. Anyone tired something like this? I actually have domination running on my Mac Studio, it is awkward because of using a mouse instead of touch and no ability to expand the window but it works. When I set it up, it had no trouble firing up the space age account but that was before this ugly weekend problem. Thanks for any suggestions on how to deal with this given the current state of link/transfer account code in the app.

To play on another device, you should not have such a problem. However, sometimes unexpected problems occur. Even the link in the settings does not work properly, and the transfer of the game between Android and iOS should be helped by the support.
But the way,send tiket to CS and request to transfer the game. Note that the problem will not be solved by calling once, and you may have to call several times and follow up on your problem. Usually, they will send the old instructions first, but eventually they will help you and the problem will be solved. After that, follow the game until the problem is fixed.
(Before submite the ticket,you can try sign in the game on old device again.if all things is good, note it on your ticket.)

B like Big Bug, thanks for the reply. In the help it implies that if I finish the tutorial that they forced me into on the new iPad, I will get a chance to go back to my old account. Anyone know how the devil you get to the end of the tutorial. I have worked my way into the bronze age and spent a couple of hours with the darn thing and still don’t see how to make it end. Thanks

I have also written customer service again to see if I can get a response out of them. I had already responded to their no help reposting of the incorrect help file.

Finishing tutorial take about 10min.after intering your name.It's over. It's a sign that you no longer need to follow the instructions of the game.And you have access to the game settings.

I had something like this happen to me.

My tablet (Android) died and I got a new one.
When I tried to retrieve my account I could not... I kept being asked to log into the account on my old tablet to transfer it to the new one but alas, the old one was kaput.

CS was able to reload my old account over a new one that I started but it took several communications over the course of maybe 10-14 days or so...
I don't remember all the particulars but I needed my old account ID (the six digit number and (if I recall correctly) had to answer "security questions" of one kind or another and then convince them that I really wanted to overwrite the new account with the old one (answered "Yes, Really, really..." twice). I lost a few minor things but, in the end, got my account back.

Keep asking CS for help... the eventually got me restored (albeit with a new account number).
