The in-game FAQs say league boat, chests, purchases.
Probably more regular rewards will be removed to make way for these, like they did with museum supplies.

And the museum pieces are getting a jumble. Just when I thought I had a plan..... pottery type item with +1 missile silo damage, and other attack bonuses. Jewelry item with defense bonuses. Mixing it up - keeping us on our toes.
Yes this is ridiculous and untidy. The Uni and library have plenty of building upgrades, why not leave the museum as it was?
It was manageable and made sense!
Imo, l don't think the museum should give you bonuses that affect the buildings of the base you're attacking. It should boost MY attack and inversely l can live with bonuses affecting anyone attacking me.
Realistically, what can l do to another person's buildings to reduce their effectiveness? Put a spell on them?
That's not the direction l want to go.

yes.. lets change the wording to
‘your troops take less damage from [building]’
‘your troops do more damage against [building]’

KniferX, I still think you are wrong about Fury bonus applied to Troop Tactics. I played as German for a long time, but never seen Fury bonus (as well as coalition bonuses) applied on Troop Tactics in a real ww attack. Testing it in a challenge isn't any proof, since challenges are bugged.

Centurion96 every german player I know (myself included) is confident that teutonic fury applies to all our troops, planes, and troop cards. The axe symbol appears over the troops as they come out, and it makes a noticeable difference. That is in war, not just mp challenges. The fury buff will also appear next to the coalitions of the attacker in the top left of the replays, to be doubly clear that it is in effect.

Coalitions obviously apply to troop cards, although they do depend on the type of card - barracks troop cards (impis, GJRs, etc) get baracks boosts, factory troop cards get factory boosts, merc troop cards (elephant archers) get mercenary boosts. The janissary cards we all got recently make it very clear - they specifically say they get double boosts from blessings or coalitions, that is one of the troop perks. Makes it fairly clear that other cards get coalition boost, but not doubled. And if you attack a base with a loaded SH with and without the Maori defensive coalition, the different strength of the troops is obvious.

So you're saying challenges are very specifically bugged to allow teutonic fury to visibly boost troop cards DPS, while in wars and MP that does not happen? But they still boost everything else without problem? Pretty extraordinary claim.
I suppose the visible axes over the troop cards when you deploy them in war are also a bug?

KniferX, the developers confirmed that Colalition bonuses are not applied to TT and I can confirm that neither Fury bonus is applied, based on my testing. However, there are a few TT exceptions out this rule (e.g. Elephant archers, which are supposed as mercenary troop, because you can hire it at stable, so TT get bonuses too. Also howitzers may get the bonus as they are considered barracks troops, atc.). But typical "not common unit" TT, like e.g. Sherman Crab tank, Impi, atc. does not get any bonus.

Coalition bonuses are not applied to SH troops on defense (TT cards are not considered defenders for Maori calculations, defenders are units spawned from garrisons, depots and bunkers, plus resistance troops). This has been officialy confirmed by developers.

Regarding coalition and Fury bonuses on TT cards, the default behaviour is that there is no bonus. You can simply check it, because no bonus shields appear when you deploy TT. However, as I mentioned above, there are several exeptions, if TT card contains mercenary, factory or barracks troops (e.g. Elephant Archers, howitzers, atc.). Maybe you didn't noticed it because you are using EAs all the time.

Was there any reason to have the Archive take up map space? Could’ve been better if you placed it outside the map next to the Museum.

No, every building you can connect to your roads is a free HP bonus for your TC, so I'm happy.

Centurion, I did my testing in challenge mode that confirmed fury does indeed boost damage for troop cards. Axes above them also appear while doing war attacks and deploying troop cards. There is no logical reason to believe challenges are bugged in such a very specific way to allow fury to work on troop cards while it doesn't work anywhere else.

Coalitions and teutonic fury are two different things.

''Officially confirmed by developers'', no offense, would you mind if we could have a source on that confirmation? If you mean customer service told you, there have been numerous occasions where different CS members give incorrect or contradictory information, meaning they are not a reliable source for game-related questions.

I agree, speed ups could’ve just as easily be stored and retrieved from the inventory.

Even better, we could not bother with an entirely new building. Archive= bloatware.

The Archive building is easily the most useless building I can remember in this game. I upgraded mine to lvl 4 on my accounts, but I doubt I'll upgrade it any more. Why would I? I have absolutely zero intention of buying any speedups. Why would I? They're a worse deal than crowns, which do the same thing. I can get crown deals that get me what, up to 50% more corwns? And I can use the crowns to speed up or on ancient chests, or anything else.

Nexon swung and missed on the speed ups. It could've been good, but it turned out to be just another way to try to trick us into spending $$.
