Mortar and artillery troops are unstoppable

I was in a war where the defense of our alliance has this museum:
+86% All Defensive Towers Damage
-19% Invading Barracks Troops Damage
-63% Defender Spawn Time
+148% All defensive Towers Hitpoints
-27% Invading Mortar Troop Hitpoints
-25% Invading Paratrooper Hitpoints

He was defeated by the enemy in 2 minutes with this museum:
-12% All Enemy Defensive Towers Damage
+17% Barracks Troop Damage
+17% Attack Helicopter Damage
+20% Mortar Troop Damage
+24% Paratrooper Damage
+27% Ranged Siege Damage
+57% Enemy Defender Spawn Time
-9% All Enemy Defensive Towers Hitpoints
+47% Mortar Troop Hitpoints
+12% Paratrooper Hitpoints
+17% Ranged Siege Hitpoints

The difference in damage and HP of all defensive towers between the defender and the attacker is abysmal. I do not dispute if the troops he used are the ones that are having the most effect but their percentages do not exceed 50%.
How can this happen? Hack? Unbalance? Game bug?

Hi Sergio, you do not provide lvl of attacker and defender ; SH; layouts... But assuming two maxed drones , this is something possible yes particularly if bases allows some sniping ( taking DC to use BZ / taking silo / some spawning buildings)

For years people have been calling for buffs to the Barracks Troops, are we now going in the other direction because we don't like the results??
I'm not saying upgrades are bad, but imagine spending time and resources in a defensive museum, collecting tokens to buy legendary artifacts in Marco Polo and a guy comes along with random artifacts dropped in 20 minutes without completing but hits 20% mortar troop damage and with that he beats any base. You askwer... why did I waste so much time?

So your gripe is that the other got lucky??? What do you do if you've spent $500 dollars in a casino and when you leave a guys comes in, sits in your seat, drops a few dollars and wins the jackpot? Are you going to ask the casino to change the way they do things?
It's called life - sometimes you get lucky and sometimes the other guy does.
If you get the devs to change things to suit you - all because of one war - then good luck to you, otherwise accept that 'it' happens, take it on the chin and move on to the next battle. (like everyone else)

So you praise that these things happen? It's like saying the museum system works for some if we follow your "luck" theory. Here is something that is not working correctly or maybe the player used some cheat but you defend yourself with that I complain about life? Go back to your pipe. I don't think you made a serious reply on the matter or maybe I should think that you take advantage of this "luck" too. I hope that when you lose more than 10 wars for reasons like that, you stop thinking that they are "lucky people".

Well, my maxed D base has 143 AEDTD, 147 DST, 96 AEDTHP, 33 Defender Damage and 58 Defender HP. Defending works very well against every attack style.

Probably its about the layout?

Never said 'praise' - I said accept.
And you were talking about 1 specific war - now you're talking about 10 wars or a regular occurrence? Sounds like 2 different issues at play here.
Anyway, I think you need to lighten up 'bro' - it's a game after all - but I wish you well on your quest regardless.

It may be the design, but what makes me doubt the most is the time it took since the base has 148% hp and the enemy had nothing to counter it.
I assume your Defender had set Māori, Russians and Aztecs on a maxed level and the attacker had set Mongols, Cherokee and Aztecs?

Honestly I dont care much about ADTHP with my O account. These things are slowing down an attack imho: Base layout, Defender Spawn time combined with Defender HP and Defender damage. Spawned troops are mich more a danger to mortars and Riege Sange cause their are stopping them to attack defense buildings (Mortars) and killiing range siege very fast. Due to the range towers are not a big issue for mortars and range siege.

Also take in mind that the attacker might have big buffs for mortars and range siege from council, which you dont know.

BTW: my D base was attacked by one AH hitter and by one mortars hitter last war: 87% and 4 stars, no extra buildings, some troops in SH. Tho it is possible to defend.

Game Balance: The developers may have intentionally set different parameters and bonuses for defender and attacker to provide balance and variety in gameplay. This could be part of the game strategy to provide interesting challenges and opportunities for both sides.
Strategy and Tactics: The player attacking your alliance may have used some strategy and tactics that allowed him to overcome obstacles and win quickly. He may have used certain types of troops that are effective against your type of defense and thus achieved success.
Random Factors: In some games, war and battles may depend on random factors such as random events or damage chances. This can lead to unpredictable results and unexpected battle outcomes.
Possible bugs or bugs: There may be some bugs or bugs in the game that can affect the balance and results of battles. If you suspect a bug, it is recommended that you contact the game developers or report it to the appropriate forum or support service.

Sure, I've lost wars like that but they had something "justifiable" (the attacker had at least a bit of offensive museum and his mortar troop damage was 70%)

All your comments are about these stats vs those stats or who get's what with the roll of a dice but in all your comments you've overlooked one thing - the attackers may very well be very good attackers.
And as others have already pointed out, there are other factors that affect a game besides stats.
It's not always about stats.

But if what you say is true then why invest in a defensive museum? or why invest in an offensive museum too?

I personally had a very good offensive museum and I have failed with non-defensive bases, there is a possibility... but as I said before and what made me most angry is that the attacker without a museum only took 2 minutes and not 3.

Mate, you are ignoring the other factors. If you have a shit base layout I can five star your drone base with a digital account. Post your Lay-out an we can discuss this further.

BTW: my D base defended in another war - so it is possible

To improve your stats, to give you a better chance - that's it, that's all.
If you want a guarantee then l suggest BHG balance things so not only do you win every battle but everyone else only gets 1 star against you. Would that make you feel better?
smh

Don't you get tired of using sarcasm? After that war they wrote to the CS team and in the next war the base defended against someone who did have a decent museum.
But if for you it's all about me complaining because I have to win always feel sorry for your thought, I just felt that I had been cheated.
I think I have the right to express that annoyance, but for you I just want to win and that BHG reward me. Seriously, I wish you would stop to read sometimes and think what you would have done if it happened to you.

Mate, different design? Which attack style? You aren’t giving answers.

BTW: my D base defended the fourth war in a row versus mortar / ranged siege attacks. See: it works …
