HT defenders way offbalance after rebalance

So I was raiding a 236 star CWA base today and as I was nearly done clearing it one of my HT MK7 accompanied by a single infantry unit (both split from the rest of my army) reached a factory. The factory went down and the HT MK5 defender spawned taking down the infantry unit pretty much instantly which gave my HT MK7 the opportunity to take the first shot.. so i’m thinking easy take down right... nope not even close... a few shots over maybe 3-4 secs and my HT MK7 was down and the HT MK5 defender still had at least 3/4 of his health, he literally took out more hp in his first shot than my MK7 did in the 4 he took. So here is my question: what the hell are the defenders stats now? HT defenders are rock solid after the rebalance, loosing your planes and having a couple left especially when coupled with lvl7 Maori is a nightmare. All defenders are noticeably tougher, but HTs are just way out there, and clearly have stats way higher than offensive built HTs two lvls ahead.... and with Brandenburg and Teutonic boosts active. You guys seriously need to look into making some adjustments. Overall I actually like the rebalance, the game was indeed too easy before and defenses needed a buff. But HT defenders and god I won’t even start on splash dealing RPGs in this tread, but yeah they need to be nerfed too. It’s just too much to deal with and watch out for at high level CWA. Rocket Arsenal turned into a second MS, let it spawn waves of rpg and it’s game over. Anyway hopefully some small adjustments are made. I get the game should be harder, but for a good player it should also be possible to get stars vs high lvl 3D bases...

They doubled the HP on the HT defenders, to let them keep up with the doubled damage on planes. But if you lose your planes, or don't get them out in time, the net result is they are double strength against everything else.

The ridiculous result is that now HT attackers lose to 2 level lower HT defenders, and as you say the outcome isn't even close. The stupidity is off the charts.

I don’t even bother now because the losses will be so heavy. But yes even 3 tank destroyers can’t even take out one mk5 defender. They should actually change their name because they can’t destroy many of the defenders. That being said, betrayal works pretty well but I don’t carry it in MP but only use it for war sometimes.

Where have you been these last few weeks, Jarl?
All defenses have been seriously increased and defending troops now have double their HP. Read all the ''rebalance'' threads to get the bigger picture.
If Nexon removed this one aberration from the 'rebalance', and left only the buildings with increased hp, l dare say most of us would be ok with it. Having different troop stats on defense vs offense is just crazy.
Anyway good luck with your future battles, you'll need it.

Agree with the above. The Heavy Tank situation is by far the worst part of these 4 stages. I'm in favour of rewarding defence. It was annoying to watch an average attacker 5 star a base despite mistakes, thanks to miracle decoys . Wars being decided by time rather than stars was also boring.

However, watching a MK5 HT get taken out by a MK2 is crazy and very poor game design. Hopefully Nexon will recognise this and re-balance the re-balance... Defenders should be equal. If you really want to boost them a little over offence, at least give them different names and artwork.

Add that to the longer and longer list of idiotic decisions by Nexon in this “rebalance” (read: destruction of the game).

Just taking away our decoys with that one spectacular blow of the nerf hammer would have rocked every player in the game and forced people to look at new strategies. But somehow they found a way to make that a detail that got drowned out.
