Gathering resources event for a SA

In order to finish this event in Space Age you need to gather 433 million resources. It’s undoable for a normal player. But if we take a look from a hardcore player perspective, it’s also undoable - if someone could gather such an amount in a week, then he might have already finished all his walls, and it will be extremely boring to farm resources for hours knowing that they will disappear in nowhere, so the hardcore player won’t do it because of boredom. And if someone will still be able to finish this event spending hours and days for a chance of a short speed-up or an EA army, then he definitely needs some professional help. So I suggest Nexon should give a discount for a shrink to every SA player who finishes this event.
There’s one more interesting moment - mid-step awards haven’t been changed and stayed as usual. So you’ll be rewarded with 800k food for gathering 107 million resources and with 2 million gold for gathering 275 million resources. That’s really WOW!

Yeah events are completely pointless as space age , between war matching, events , tier sales , and cheating this is literally the most overpriced bugged and hackable game out there , wont be long before someone is able to steal money from the company and from other players they don't care about security at all

This game becomes more and more auto-piloted with each week. I know hope springs eternal and that's why we forum stalwarts put more effort into these boards than the moderator does but it's pretty obvious. Dude's blistering pace of 5 forum posts a day has been reduced to 5 a week, if that.

While speedup chests are ok, Marco hasn't offered troop chests in 3 months. Events have barely changed in years, apart from ludicrous requirements for the latest age anyway. Food? Gold? And paltry sums that don't even begin to pay for a single upgrade, at that? Why not just bring back ''Big Huge'' Loot and diamond mines requiring 4 workers to be free every 8 hours while we're at it? Yeah, we've known for a long time that nobody at BHG or Nexon actually plays this game but they aren't even going through the motions to pretend otherwise lately.

Once again, just allow us to buy speedups, even if it's just 1 hour ones, directly with gold/food and it would mitigate some of this game's most glaring longrunning issues. Whether it's something like a flat 5,000,000, so you can't even start until enlightenment age, or it's based on a % of an age's max. This is a 4.5 year old game. Upgrades in the latest age are clocking in at 384 hours per. One upgrade, of dozens, possibly hundreds. Long down times and the lack of a permanent resource sink/reason to play have been an issue for years.

I hear crickets. Is that due to the late hour here or am I merely predicting the official response to this and other issues on Monday?

It's still one of the better mobile games out there but that's really more of a condemnation of the mobile gaming industry than a ringing endorsement of this game's direction.

If this was the way Samsung ran their business they'd tell us we're to blame for the phones overheating and to get the best use from our phones we should use them less. Then they might make the accelerometer work slower to force us to use the phones less.
Then they'd be out of business and we'd be stuck with these phones.

This event is doable just like the previous one. Is this event a huge challenge and out of reach for casual players? Probably. But I don’t think it was meant for everyone to compete it. For the record, I am one of those players with maxed out walls gaining resources for nothing except the opportunity to gain Elephant Archers. I’m a little less than half way there. I guess I need to seek professional help, heh.

There have been previous events that have been impossible to complete even for players like me who raid a lot. Some have been thinly disguised attempts to squeeze more money out of the player base. Those are the ones we should be complaining about, not the ones that can be completed by putting in some effort. We should pick our battles.
