DomiNations stuck on first loading screen!

Hi, I'm writing a help request as I am unable to play dominations and have been unable to play for many weeks, I have never tried this game but would like to play but can't as I am stuck on the loading screen. Basically, once I have downloaded the game from the App Store and start it I get a pop up saying I have a connection error and to try again, so I do and then I am stuck at the loading screen with the bar about 25% and it will not move, this can't possibly be caused by my internet connection as I have a good connection and every other game works, I am also using an iPad 4th gen. Feel free to have a look at the screenshots. Any help would be grateful, thanks.

Update: In game support sending BS generic responses. They last suggested my ISP is the problem and to contact them. Well that conversation would go great.. "Hi all my apps, messaging and phone capabilities work perfectly except this game called DomiNations, please explain yourself..." They would call me a crazy person.

Two guys sitting beside me on the same data network are playing fine... the game server is the problem and the level of understanding and assistance the in-game support is sending is atrocious.

Haven't heard back from the support team i emailed though your link above yet. Hoping for better luck there still.

My game stopped working 4 weeks ago. It would stop loading at 25%. Then crash. I submitted tickets. Did the bs uninstall reinstall stuff they ask for in their generic emails. I sent messages on the bhg fb page (not the dominations fb page) they responded and 3 days later it was fixed

Update: I have found a bandaid fix that is working for me. I subscribe to a VPN service - so I tried hooking up my phone to tunnel through the VPN - and I can now play the game. There are free vpn services out there for anyone else experiencing this same problem. Good luck! Hopefully they'll fix the actual problem soon anyway!
