Hi!

I have been playing DomiNations on my iPad 2 using the ID Graveyard. Since yesterday afternoon, the game has stopped loading on my iPad 2. It all started as soon as I won the battle and collected the gold to build the house (5th one to be precise) but before I could select it from the store, the game crashed and since then it is not loading. I had more than 850 medals, more than 410000 gold to build the house and was in the process of upgrading to Medieval age (approx. 1 day and few hours left to complete).

I am part of the True North alliance and am a council there. But now I can't access my account on iPad 2. Please help me regain access to my account on iPad 2.

I have downloaded and installed DomiNations on my Android Phone (Nexus 5) yesterday but I can not link the device to my account as I am not able to access the ID on my iPad 2 as the game crashes / closes soon after the Nexon screen. I have even send the support request from my Android Device yesterday and am awaiting your reply.

I would be grateful if you can resolve the issue with the game at the earliest or alternately provide me the ID for linking my game on Android Phone to my old account so that I can continue from where I left. Once I hook up my ID on my Android Phone, I shall remove and reinstall the game on iPad 2 which probably may resolve the issue.

Please note that the game version 1.3.0 is installed on my iPad 2 (as checked from the App Store). I don't know how much helpful the below posted data will be as I have copied and pasted it from my previous support request dated 2nd May 2015.

:)) dont worry we have sane problem more then 6 days and suport dont care about. Can you see? They make ne age...new uogrades buth they dont care about the damn issues.

Yep same problem here. I can hear the sound of my village burning when loading, but suddenly it crashes. I'm receiving notifications about attacks on my village, all the time. Already sent an email to nexonm support, but i had no reply, it seems they just don't care. I can't play my account since 15 May.

If only there is a way to reinstall the game without losing the current progress probably it would help. Something like backing up the game folder or app using icloud or itunes, deleting and reinstalling the game thereafter using the backup to overwrite the new files or restore the files from itunes / icloud. Alternately if there is a way to link a new device to the account, we can reinstall the app on the old device after link up.

In any case, I will wait for a few days probably a week at the max. If I don't get any reply to the emails I have sent, I shall move on and get hooked to some other game. This is the second time I am facing an issue in past 3 - 4 weeks. The last time the maintenance was done at their end, I lost my medals and resources. Though the customer support said they will compensate once the issue is resolved, nothing happened. Neither were my medals and resources returned nor were any crows given to me as compensation. I just ignored their approach but if such issues are frequent then there is no use sticking with Nexon / Big Huge Games. They are trying to resurrect themselves but with such a customer support, they will only end up losing the fan-base and trust of their customers.

Just a quick update:

I had installed the game on my Android Phone as mentioned in my original post. I played it till level 6 and then removed it from my device. I reinstalled the game sometime later and my level, resources, buildings, etc. all were restored to the original state as they were before I uninstalled the game.

I wish the same can be true for my iPad 2. If only the customer support can confirm that I can get all my data back after reinstalling the game on my iPad 2.

I had the same problem on my Iphone 4s. It's also installed on my IPad 2. I played on both devices alternatively. It stopped Loading on the iphone exactly as you described. I merely uninstalled / reinstall on the phone and it worked. I think it was sync up with iCloud, gamecenter or something like that. (Side note: iphone is unplayable for battle, too many crash. I use it to collect food and gold 3-4 times a day and do te occasional drop medal tactic)

Correct me if wrong but from your post what I understand is that you are saying if I was logged into the Game Center on my iPad 2 before I started experiencing the crash / closure issues, I can follow the below mentioned steps to reinstall the game without losing any progress.

1.) Delete the game from iPad 2 (the game data will also get deleted as shown in the pop up dialogue box)
2.) Keep the game details in Game Center
3.) Reinstall the game

Using the above steps, I should be able to recover my level, buildings, etc. Do we need to back up the game before we implement the steps above?

I've had the same problem with my ipad4 and have posted here before I have the game on two devices iPad and iPhone. I have deleted the game form my iPad and iPhone like 20 time and same result. At launch I get network connection error in my iPad even though it's a fresh install then after hitting try again just stick on loading about 10% of the screen. In my iPhone the game loads but once I try to load my village sticks on loading so my believ my account is screwed up. I'm the leader of a full alliance and can't even get in to pass leadership, so you can imagine how scared up this is.

I am sure it is my account that is having problem. I say this because when I download the game on my Android Phone and play with a new account (could not link my device to iPad 2 as I don't have the code and can not generate it as the game crashes) the game is working fine. I played it on my Android Phone till level 6 without any issue and then deleted it.

I hope that the developers can provide a solution soon.

It would also be helpful if the developers can release a message within the game (for other players) saying that some account are having trouble and hence the users of such account are unable to play the game. Posting such a message would make the alliance members aware as to why the team member is not able to contribute. This may stop the leader from demoting / kicking anyone for non-performance.

Guys another quick update.

Reading all the reviews on the forum regarding the customer support, I decided that it may be a while before my issue is resolved (if at all). So I decided to take a final plunge before moving on and getting hooked onto another game. I took the risk and deleted the game from my iPad 2 and then reinstalled it. Presto! the game is working again. Although the upgrade to Medieval level was complete, I had lost more than 50% of my resources and some 50 odd medals. Even my ranking in the alliance has come down to 6 from 4.

Good to be back in game and hope that I will be compensated some how by the developers / customer care. Even last time too, I lost many medals and resources and despite the commitment from the customer care that the issue will be corrected and I will be compensated, nothing happened.

Just to be on the safe side, I am immediately going to link my Android Phone to my iPad 2 account.

Its not just the game but it seems that the website has started experiencing issues too.

See attached screen shot. I hope the site does not go down else there will be no forum to post the issues.

PS: I don't think the developers / customer care will ever compensate me or any one else for the issues faced by us. I have lost more than 150 medals and 75% of my resources till date due to various issues faced while playing the game.

Same here. This is getting ridicolous, it's like we've been banned. i'm an onest gamer, i spent a lot of money on this game, there are loads of cheaters in the top player list and i am the one who gets kicked out. as if this is not enough, i don't even know my player id, so i can't do anything to gain my village back.
