1. Unique units should only be cosmetic, not stat differences!!
Because throughout the ages, certain nations receive stupid stat bonuses over others. Low level, these bonuses were as high as 80%, which was ridiculous (and why many new French, Greek, Chinese, British players complained and gave up) Equal stats means no constant buffing / nerfing, and that time can be spent making other content for the game.
It is just game balance. I know some people don't care about balance because they need a handicap edge over others, and to them I say - **** you.
2. Edit: most nation powers are fine, but Romans need a change
Because its way too powerful end-game. It should be something like 2 bonus unit capacity per barracks (not upgrades) for a total of 6 bonus unit capacity at end-game (3 barracks at 2 bonus each = 6)
3. There should only be 75%, 100% and town center victory conditions
Because it's way too easy to get 50%, it's almost impossible not to get 50% with a full army deployed. Therefore there is no point in defensive buildings at end-game. The standard 3 star system removes the need for balancing attack / defense all the time. Focus on adding content, not fixing ****ty content.
Another reason detailed in point 4.
4. You should only be allowed one wonder!!!! The wonder should provide a strong bonus to your nation.
Having many in your base means nothing, when they don't actually do anything.
Everything but Notre Dame is useless.
You may think acropolis and colosseum are useful, but you're wrong. End-game they don't do anything because you're going to lose via 50% victory anyway. If you are still in classical age, you don't know **** about the game.
Why is colosseum useless? Because the resources Notre Dame saves you, outweighs the resources the colosseum saves you. It may help you in the classical age against weak players, but that's only saving you at most 50,000 resources per 12 hours. (MAYBE)
Why pick Terra-cotta?, the resources it helps you gain (MAYBE) once per day is nothing near the resources Notre Saves you.
The 50% victory condition denies the Forbidden City from doing anything other than give you a small amount of food per day (and it costs 400,000 to build don't forget)
Pyramids, Hanging Gardens, Stonehenge, Taj-mahal, Takal, Acropolis, Ankor all garbage. THEY DON'T FUKING DO ANYTHING!!! Versailes is now somewhat useful to give a buff to cavalry HP spams, but isn't necessary.
And to anyone that can't comprehend these reasons, **** you again.
