Why there is no Third slot for armory ?

That's something that has been asked a lot because the game has so many upgrades now ... Maybe @Harlems369th can forward it and see what happens.

A third slot would be so nice. The UI has room for it… just saying.
Been at level 13 armory and upgrading for over year, not close to finishing…taking to long without speed up’s

Then 2 slots are fine. This game is supposed to be played for years, didn't anyone tell you?
If they had a third slot we'd have all our units done and they'd have no reason to sell us crowns.

yes this game takes years to reach the top but there is an urgency in creating more high level players. That urgency brought the instant farm/oil/caravan upgrade. So, in that regard, why not have a 3rd slot for generals since they are like 110 X 3 = 330 upgrades at the minimum?

The much reduced shorter upgrade times helped players level up quicker - the instants were just a nice bonus for select buildings - neither of which have any bearing on whether we need a third slot.
If we did get a third one, why stop there? BHG might as well give us 6 slots, make all upgrades max at 4days, have all legendaries cost 10 tokens - available each week, - and have all councillor packs give purples.
Might as well make this game as easy as candy crush.

This famous feature allows you to train slow troops combined with fast ones, obtaining upgrades that would take up to 20 days in as little as 4 hours.
Or how about leveling up General Zhukov or Sun Tzu more quickly with the special BHG "feature" that lets you train the same general in both available slots, doubling your favorite general's advancement speed?
Not satisfied? Then we have good news… how about leveling up all your troops at once by performing a disconnect and reconnect feature?
BHG allows you to do all this. So why ask for a third, fourth, or fifth slot? Take advantage of all the features provided by BHG and be happy.

he is his own man. But I do absolutely agree with him on a third slot.They reduced time by over 50% on making it to drone this would just compound the giving the game away. Remember folks if old Seek only has to do is wait 2 month for something to become reduced or instant then why hell would Seek spend money? If a bunch of Seeks stop spending because of freebies then game dies folks cause nobody will run game for free.

The Armory is the 'least balanced' place for research and a 3rd slot (as someone mentioned there is space for it in the UI) would help balance everything out.
So far the Library and University are well-balanced and through the years you can aim at completing them (takes ages but it's doable), whereas the Armory is the slowest of the lot and never keeps pace with the rest.
A third slot, either payable via crowns or real money (like the Estate) would help balance things out as currently the Armory just lags way behind.

Let’s just make everything instant and everyone starts at Automation age and nobody has to pay for anything. See how long game stays up and running.
They have already reduced everything more that 50% what it took the old players to do.
What has this taught me as someone who does pay money ? Not to pay for anything let folks cry and say it good for player base till they get what they want and I save money.
So keep crying folks for free or reduced till game shuts down. All because y’all too cheap or lazy to do it way game is supposed to be played just cause new player are weaker than old players new players cry cry cry reduce this give me more slots. Few folks with multiple accounts want free too.
BHG cutt your own profit by catering to new players too much and spit in face of all that paid full price or had to wait and wait.

Whether people like it or not, given the recent updates, I would say that a third slot is more likely than not.
My only suggestion is this: make people work a little for it and don’t just automatically offer it with the update. At least make it a capstone for a new library bookshelf; earning it would make it much more enjoyable.
You can also offer some armory time reduction and/or speedup assist through the parliament just saying
