Today's Update created Ghosts

Today's maintenance update created an issue for many members, likely members that have traveled (switched alliances) in the past week or so. The exact reason and conditions are unknown.


Problem: alliance members are not listed in their current alliance (in other words, they are not listed in the alliance gate). So they can chat in-game with alliance members despite not being in said alliance. They also can't leave the alliance, nor can someone kick them as they cannot be found in the alliance gate. There are other related problems, such as issues with war, that go beyond the scope of this report.


Solution: find which old alliance you're in and have someone you from there; this then kicks you from your current-ish alliance. It may not be the last alliance you were in as it could have been from weeks or months ago; truly odd.


Other notes: these ghost members can donate unlimited troops without losing the donated troops, despite it saying the troops could not be donated. Also parliament donations by ghost members is even stranger; appearing to instantly finish the parliament (e.g., 0/10 of something goes to 10/10 with one donation) but it resets after logging back in. Not sure if any donations remain.

we had this problem with an ally. Together we travel around for the last 2 weeks or so. So we passed by many alliances but I found him by luck, back to our original alliance
we had someone kick him, and he managed to join the alliance he was in previously
