Few things are certain in this world. In fact, many would say the only certainty in life is death, but I’m just not buying that. The Queen lives on, after all, and Nexon continues to push out “updates” that break some feature of the game.
Seriously, I cannot recall a single major update that didn’t have some sort of issue with it. These newest leaderboards are just a mockery by Nexon to gauge how much mishandling this community is willing to tolerate, and the answer seems to be “infinitely much.” Add this to Nexon’s infuriating inactivity when it comes to cheaters, and it’s no surprise people are constantly whining on these forums. That’s an environment cultivated over years by Nexon’s own actions, not any condemnation of Domi players themselves or humans as a whole to be unhappy. This is genuinely how the game works, but it still astounds me how consistently they can release updates with some important feature completely screwed up.
I am competing at the Gunpowder Age for #1. I earned about a thousand XP after quickly crafting artefacts, reaching 3,430 XP, which is just under five times the next top player’s score. After a minute, I had gone down to 2,470, taking me down an entire level and making me lose virtually all of my gains. It’s not very funny to lose such a significant margin when you can’t gain resources as easily as higher-level players. https://imgur.com/a/zMntklS
I’m aware nothing is going to happen and they’re going to warn me for insulting someone or being uncivil, but this is downright ridiculous. When are they going to be able to do something right? It’s at least better to vent.
