Hello,
Recently, I noticed that some players have two estates, and I saw that the Dominations World estate sale has been suspended. I’d like to share some my thoughts about the special estates.
I read the posts of Harlem369th about 10th anniversary event that there'll be special estates which can be picked up only by playing web version. I tried to play Dominations by web but I couldn't. I got the message "Not available"-"This feature is not available in your region.". I asked him 'Is this message meaning that I have no chance to buy special estates?' and I got no reply from him. I'm in Korea and I have no idea why I can't play web version in my region. And everything in webstore was unavailable. It was all gray, unable to click any items. I was able to view the store items in Dominations World using a VPN. However, when I tried to test a purchase, I received a message stating that my credit card—which works perfectly fine for purchases in the mobile version—was not valid for this region, and the purchase could not be completed. This indicates that resolving the issue will require not only making DomiNations World available in my region, but also expanding the list of supported payment regions to include mine.
I posted about the 10th Anniversary Special Estate on the Korean Dominations community, explaining that it's only available on "Dominations World" and not accessible to Korean players. I'm not sure if this was intentional by the development team, but many players didn’t even know the special estate sale was happening. Some saw opponents with two estates during multiplayer battles and assumed it was cheating. Understandably, this has caused a lot of frustration.
In the near future, players who never had the chance to purchase special estates might start reporting those with two estates as cheaters. How would you explain this situation to them? Would you say, "This is not cheating, it's just a special estate you didn't have opportunity to purchase"?
Over time, the gap between players with special estates and those without will only widen. I’m willing to spend money to enjoy the game, but using speed-ups just to catch up feels unfair and not enjoyable—for me and many others. I understand that web bonuses exist for some products to encourage players to purchase crowns, troop tactics, etc. But this is about the 10th anniversary event. I believe every player should have an equal chance. I don't understand why regional discrimination exists.
I'm not sure what the technical limitation is, but it seems that there was an error during the transaction. I believe the simplest and fairest solution would be to make the special estate available on mobile as well.
I don’t want to quit the game over something like this, but I’m concerned that many disappointed players might leave. Please seriously consider making the special estate available to those who didn’t have the chance to purchase it on the website.
Thank you very much.
I apologize if my English isn’t perfect. I hope you’ll kindly understand if there are any mistakes or awkward expressions.
