Retain mercenaries while upgrading

Please make it so that when we are upgrading the mercenary camp we can still retrain them, the game is hard enough with the munitions on defense buildings and not having them makes it harder and I don’t see any reason why you would have changed that already.

Have you checked your inventory for Mercenary contracts? It's a bit random but I usually get tank troops.

You are so right. You can get mercenaries from the inventory, you can recruit mercenaries on the “prepare for battle” screen with the normal resources. Then retraining should definitely be possible.

Of course it's possible. Barracks and factory currently do it so why not the Merc Camp, Castle, Academy, right?
I was simply offering a solution to OP, in case they weren't aware.

I have but since it is random you get trash mercenaries

You can use resources but if you have to use 16 diamonds each time you attack you ran out of resources very fast and after you use them retrain is not possible, it is only possible after you have your mercenary camp upgraded

I agree merc camp should be able to be used . Other stuff works while upgrading.

Free trash mercs are better than no mercs - unless you prefer no mercs. I'm sure they're happy staying in the inventory with the rest of their merc buddies.

Yeah and better than that would be just having the opportunity to retrain them, just expressing a concern, if you don’t like the idea that I am presenting simply ignore it

Of course l like the idea, l agreed it should be done. I was offering a viable option - if you don't like the free troops option that I am presenting simply ignore it
