I am upgrading 2 of my generals right now and I only use retrain because it gets too expensive to retrain them with crowns but if I don’t use retrain in a few hours all 3 get unavailable and I have to wait for the 2 upgrades and 20 something hours for the other one to be available. JUST LET US USE THEM WHILE THEY ARE BEING UPGRADED!!!!! Honestly is such a big issue that we have to pay with crowns. Clearly developers do not play their own game.
