Reducing building time

I know its not a new idea but I still think its much needed.
We need a reduction of the construction times. You sit on your resources for days and can not use them because your workers are stuck for over 2 weeks, and rising. When all the walls are at Max there is hardly a reason to play actively. In addition, it is unnecessarily difficult to catch up for new players, which ultimately damages the game itself.


Some ideas:
- Plain Reduction of the required time by 30% (?) for all ages.

- Reduction of the required workers by 1, as it is already partially done in the university (would not reduce the crown costs).

- Significantly more workers. To offer a way too expensive villa from time to time is definitely not enough.

- a reduction of the construction time (around 40%) for all buildings from the ages before the Spaceage (ie the newest age). That would have the double advantage that more players would advance into the endgame, but at the same time the more advanced players would´nt be bored so fast and ask for a new age.

I would be glad if you (developing team) would consider a change.

Agreed. It's been said countless times in numerous ways over the years but this is probably the second biggest long term issue after cheating. Unfortunately, these posts don't even merit a response from our crackerjack community liasons team, much less anyone with the power to do anything about it. Have an upvote nonetheless, maybe you'll be the tipping point.

These pleas will not soften them. :) Extremely long time building and improvements is a conceptual thing in this game.

This is never gonna happen. But various events or ways to acquire more citizens of 1 use would be some idea.

Imagine the following examples:

Some Dock destinations return with some "merchants" that could be used in future expeditions
Some Events would grant some "builders" that could be used in building/upgrading constructions
Marco Polo and videos would offer some "scientists" that could be used in the University
Perhaps some good results in battles or war could offer some of the above

These type of citizens could be used only once, then having them disappeared

Developers want us to use more crowns , that's one way they get money . So I dont think they will increase workers or reduce build time .

What you're suggesting has already been implemented through accelerations. This is the most versatile and easy-to-implement solution for all of the above.

They have already done (see speed-ups). Perhaps not enough, but we must admit they did. Perhaps they could do even better,
