DomiNations v9.5 Update

Greeting Leaders!

We’re making several interface changes to create a better experience for players while looking through current events, sales, and building options.

You’ll soon see these changes:

• All purchasables moved to an updated ‘Shop’ button, which will include
  • VIP Store
  • Special Offers
  • Events
  • Crown and Resource stores
  • Announcements
• Improved layout of multi-tiered sales to better indicate total steps and progress
• ‘Store’ button will be renamed to ‘Build’ button

With these changes you’ll also find additional one-time, double Crown offers!


Legendary Tokens
We’re excited to introduce a new currency that will soon be added to the DomiNations economy; Legendary Tokens!

When released:

• Legendary Tokens can be used in trades with Marco Polo for Legendary Artifacts
  • Marco Polo’s Legendary wares will rotate roughly every week
• Legendary Tokens can be acquired through Legendary Chests, Event passes, and Video Rewards

* Please Note: Legendary Tokens will not be available immediately after the update goes live, but will release in the coming weeks!


Bug Fixes and Improvements
We’re continuing to focus on making impactful improvements and addressing players' needs. Some changes in this update include:

• Fixed multiple issues with unintentional text appearing when joining or accepting players in invite-only alliances
• Library Technology titles should now display correctly during World War

Looks nice for me but was hoping for some new gameplay features
Doing same raids after 6 years is kinda boring

BTW parliament laws/wonders etc descriptions are still missing and Bjorn name is still BJ Ironside lol

I like the new updates. I know the designers are working hard on the background wallpapers for each event and they end up being on a tiny window. Now that the shop is enlarged, we can see their beauty. Which is good.

Hoping for some major changes though, like an addition of a new common building or a resource type that can be mined. Because it has been the same process for me for 4 years. And I am sure older players would agree.

Since the update i can't claim rewards from the event.

ok thx for the update. Its good that you are commiting to bug fixes. This game needs some polishing but you must ensure that those bugfixes actually work and are tested.

- Planes are still doing 8s
- Map edit bastion bug is still around
- Defence log loot bug that is based on all rss+gold looted (instead of oil looted) must be fixed as well
- Parliament cannon range is not correct
- donations for Uni research disappear before 5/5 people donate.

The new offers UI is hideous. Adding more garish colors, more font sizes and styles (pulsing text? really?), and more borders, boxes, stripes, and decorations doesn't make for a better user experience.

The UI overlaying the war map still reverts to the home base UI after spying on an opponent's library in war (battle, build, offers, videos, etc.). Spying on an enemy's library still doesn't reveal the research they've done in the new bookcases. When one of those bookcases is devoted entirely to war bonuses, this seems like a serious oversight.

Send your graphic design person to a class on clean, readable, minimalist UIs and fix the bugs.
