So many long term QOL improvements and existing game aspects that need attention and can be utilized as a source of revenue. Instead of focusing on making existing aspects better for players it’s like developers have ADHD jumping from one project to the next, never quite finishing what they started. Here is list of game mechanics that should be prioritized:

-Increased museum artifact storage space either through crowns or research

-museum artifact “presets” unlockable with crown purchases

-monthly subscription to skip advertisements (reoccurring revenue of $4.99/month per player)

-more drones

-more councilors and committee bonuses

-purchasable war crafting pass lasting 1 week any time a player wants

-new parliament laws (its been over a year since that’s seen an update, most top 100 alliances have finished it)

-new generals

The list goes on and on about unrefined game aspects that can and should be upgraded for the benefit of players and would also benefit BHG financially, but instead your development team is focused on adding completely different features. I really hope this post and everyone else’s feedback doesn’t fall on deaf ears.

We’ve been quietly working on a new addition to Museum Artifacts! When looking at the new horizon for DomiNations we’re looking at bringing additional value to players at all levels for the Museum.

We’re planning to implement Temporary Artifacts! These will be available for both Main and War Museum Halls, and like the name implies they’ll be able to sit in your museum for a limited time. Temporary War Artifacts will last for a limited amount of Wars, while Temporary Peace Artifacts will last for a limited time and will begin counting down when placed in your Museum.

These Temporary Artifacts are unique in that they will come unlocked with all five modifiers just like Legendary Artifacts. Temporary Artifacts can be obtained anywhere you can get your Legendary Artifacts. This includes both Episode and Season Pass Rewards on Free and Premium Tracks, Giveaways, War Chests, and More! This will be a great way for Players of all Ages to be able to try out these powerful artifacts.

The Temporary Peace Artifacts can be removed from your Museum Hall and returned to your inventory. However, should you do this the Artifact’s timer will still be counting down. Once the countdown expires, the Artifact will need to be removed from your inventory, if the Temporary Artifact is displayed in your Museum it will be grayed and remain there with no benefits added until you destroy it.

You’ll find unique Temporary Artifacts never seen before! But also Temporary versions of the Legendary Artifacts you know of now. In the case of a Temporary Artifact that shares the same name of the Legendary version, you will only be able to display one or the other. So for example, if you find a Temporary version of the Video Game Console Legendary Artifact but already have the Legendary version displayed, you will not be able to place the Temporary version until you remove the Legendary version and vice versa.

You’ll be able to display these Temporary Artifacts in three new Exhibit slots in both War and Peace halls so as not to disturb your current Museum setup. At launch, most Temporary Artifacts will have their modifiers set to Level 10 when obtained. However, not all Legendaries in the future will be set to Level 10, but you’ll be able to upgrade these at a 90% discount on all resources when they become available!

VIP 14 and the Dumbest Sh*t idea u have ever come up with , I sure hope u actually listen to the peeps that pay you guys , This will Ruin the Musumns and the 10000000000, s of hrs and rolls put into it , and when it does I will officially stop playing and sell my 50K account for a Nickel! Diablo 4 coming out …

@Harlems369th Reading the views above its sounds to me like no-one is in favour of anything that is temporary. Drone directives are temporary and I don’t think its paying off as most are using their drones to take out GCI’s.

FYI….War mismatches were at 39% yesterday.
How do we determine "war mismatch" exactly? Or I assume you're going by domistats.com, do we know how it's determined? Does it know who participated in the actual war or does it compare all members of the alliance using its own weight algorithm? Does it account for attacking ability (e.g., Cold War level 280 using barrack tanks versus Atomic level 165 using real strategy?) Glory?

I only ask this because the "war mismatch" statistic doesn't mean much unless we know how it's derived. So while mismatches are a problem I don't think stating a simple percentage offers anything.

I will participate in the test environment if there are no failures and my application is accepted again.
I am avoiding a scenario of jumping to conclusions.
I will do the technical evaluation and also send my feedback as a customer / player who cares about the well being of the game and the entire player base, new or old, who play for free or make in-game purchases.
I'm a novelty enthusiast, but I don't like the sale of temporary things, advantages to players who have full bank accounts or that new modifications throw down the hard work of old players, leveling the game for those who have more money to spend.
My technical feedback will be given in the testing section. Feedback on my impressions will be given here for those who may be interested.

Over the course of the past 6 months the sales team has transitioned into a “Gacha Game” with all the chests and packs.

A year ago we were offered various weekly Legendary Artifact sales for a specified amount. You could even request a “just for you” sale for any Legendary Artifact you wanted, this is no longer available.

Additionally, Legendary Artifacts were once available every week in events if you saved up enough speed ups. This feature has been limited to once a month now.

The primary way to get a high tier Legendary Artifact is by gambling on “Gacha Chests” with 1% chance of getting the prize. I fell victim to this once and spent quite a lot of money buying out all of the chests without ever obtaining Caesar Statue.

Councilor packs were introduced with ridiculously low rates, but once again atleast they were permanent “rewards” and not a consumable.

Then the introduction of consumable Drone Directives… initial rate of acquiring them were horrendous but seems to have gotten slightly better. I currently have an offer available for 3 Legendary Directive crates for $15. Each crate gives 2 rewards, the first being a speed up and second reward has an 80% chance to get oil or an NTG… only 20% chance each chest to actually receive the reward that is depicted in the sale per chest.

I gave the history breakdown of how sales tactics have changed because when another consumable is introduced to the game you have to look at the bigger picture to know what to expect. Maybe I’m wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe they’ll just offer flat sales like they do for Troop Tactics and Buildings. Sadly, based on how the last new drone directive consumable was marketed I’m not optimistic.

i know right( this was inevitable sice they introduced seperate building and research speedups). i have a theory that all these sales clog up the game and cause the lots of bugs and when they try to fix them... more bugs.

i want these sales gone and the treasure dock gone too and go back to a streamlined and simplified sales where crowns,speedups and armies were the prevalent thing.

even the event rewards are hot garbage. i atill remember an event where the free tier included the silla gold crown as a free reward... where are events like that now😭.

with all these things about arent there laws against lootboxes and microtransactions?

I think this is clearly too high. The game does contain some daily ad videos, but the max 18 videos (8 daily reward, 4 at the merchant, 2 at the museum, 3 retraining) are no more than in idle (Miner, Airport, ...) games, for example.

Other apps sell lifetime skipping of ads for only $15.
If you want to sell that on a monthly basis, then maybe for $1 ... then BHG still makes more profit with ad-free sales vs other games after a year. Especially with multiple accounts, $5 a month for each account is way too much.

I generally agree that it would be time to fill the "coming soon".
But it's almost only the top100 (top 200?) alliances.
According to domistats, out of 55k alliances (only for some of them the parliament is supervised (less than 10k))
are
- 162 at 100%,
- 227 at 90+%,
- 373 at 75+%,
- 915 at 50+%

Maybe we'll wait until others catch up ... just as we waited at alliance level 20, for example, until some could follow.

This will apply inversely as well. Currently attack heli damage can be capped around 225% with museum and councilors, add in 3 more temp legendaries and you’re looking at over +300%.

This doesn’t include coalition buffs. Readjusting other aspects of the game will be required Troop tactics that aren’t effected by museum will be less effective, some war tactics will be less effective, temp buildings less effective.

Spot-on! The 85% rule should have been removed ages ago, but definitely now these ridiculous temporary artifacts are to be added. I can only presume that two thirds of buffs/nerfs will effectively be hidden once these new temporary artifacts are added to the ‘unhidden’ Museum one. If a player chooses to dismantle their Museum artifacts during the Planning Day it will be practically impossible to plan wars.

This demotivated me quite a bit. I had been saving free accelerators every day for these events but if they do it like this there is no longer a chance to obtain legendary artifacts other than obtaining legendary chests and conqueror chests twice a year.
Now what they are going to implement is going to unbalance the game, imagine a user who spends in the game gets this type of artifacts against a user who doesn't... at least the advice is totally random for everyone no matter how much they spend on it.
Directives loaded... no words...
When they released the tokens I said "Finally they thought of the player who doesn't spend".
Another thing I want to point out, although there are events every week, the quality of the things you can win has gone down... before the final free prize was a minimal temporary building, now it's a couple of troop tactics.
I'm not saying that the game is bad or that they give us everything, but that they could do better, think about the player who plays every day even if he doesn't spend on the game...
I've had many casualties in my alliance since they released all these seasons... People are stopping playing (myself included).

Please don’t! Nobody wants this. How about some offensive updates, new troops, new nations, new offensive directives. I’m willing to come work for your team, just saying… y’all need some help. These updates and seasonal events are awful.

like time rebalances across the board, university leader for oil tiers (one for food and one for gold but no oil).

more single player campaigns. it stopped at medieval age but no gunpowder, enlightment or industrial age and beyond ones.

the "coming soon" parliament laws. been there since launch.

the list goes on.

Maybe if you guys just had a fixed, non-upgradeable 10% (or even 12%) for every line in every artifact it may have been worthwhile for a temporary item - to give the player a glimpse into the possibilities. Having an option to upgrade a temporary item - that starts at less than 10% - is ridiculous.
I generally try to see both sides of an argument and often lock horns with complainers on the forums but this time BHG you're on your own. smh.
Ok, i overread the 90% discount, tho its an investment around 5K blueprints to max out an artifact. Assuming all lines are ueseful for my museum and all are starting at 5% it might be an improvment. It might, but in most times its not worth it i guess. If most of my artifacts are already between good and nearly perfect the DIFFERENCE (additional boost) is not as high that it helps mucH. 143 DST in defense can’t be topped significant by a temporality artifact, as example.

Those temporary artefacts seems to be way too much powerful. for MP it is absolutely *not* an issue. For War it is a big issue. You would make it clear to every player this game cannot be won without P2W.

WW legendaries are a different history. These are permament. I am not fond of it because i like balanced games more . But at least it is possible to acquire once for all. And sometimes even possible with Marco tokens ( well Marco is not super good last months but lets put this aside).

Temporary OP artefacts cannot help the game. These are worse than war buildings, which are at the moment worse game feature (bazooka towers, hangars.. ) . Even VIP players will be ennoyed. You will lose more players than sell temp artefacts.

This is a bad idea. Please do not proceed with it. We are predicting a new movement if you do: No Temporary Artifacts (NTA). For those who remain playing, that is. The frustration is real. You have a great game on your hands. Please don’t drive us away.
