• Ending Support for AOS6
As highlighted in our 12.10 Update notes, we will be ending support for AOS6 with the release of the 12.11 Update due to technical requirements. Those on AOS6 will need to upgrade to a device that supports AOS7 or above to continue playing DomiNations.

Burj Al Arab does not work

Burj Al Arab does not work. Buidings and traps show the correct discounted time (-9%), but after the upgrade is started and the game is restarted, it shows the old (undiscounted) time. This happened to my Fort, Library and Air Defense as well.

If I had known, it would not work, I would have waited to move to Information Age til Winter of the Ages. I spent a lot of speedups on my town center, which would be free at Winter of the Ages, to be able to have the discount earlier.

Please fix and compensate for lost discounts. (see my ticket). I have added two screenshots that prove the bug.

Thx, Hagar (431179)

This bug is not only with Burj Al Arab but also with Alliance requests. If you received acceleration from an Alliance member and then applied your own accelerators, the Alliance's assistance is reset to zero.

Leviathan this seems to be related also to the Uni research of Harriet Tubman

With IA we got another claymore mine and I saw the following behavior:

Prerequisites for Repro:
* Harriet Tubman trap upgrade time maxed (10%)
* Burj Al Arab with 9 houses in vicinity

1. Check the upgrade time of the e.g. Claymore mine from level 1 to 2
2. Without Burj Al Arab I see 9 days (due to Tubman uni research 10d - 10% = 9d)
3. With Burj wonder I see the upgrade time reduced to 8d 4h (This should be 8d 2h though as currently it seems to be 18% instead of 19%)
4. Start the upgrade

Expected behavior:
5. Time reduction is applied properly (build time is the value shown in the upgrade screen - so at least 8d 4h)

Actual behavior:
5. Time is 'increased' to 9 days instead

So I assume that instead of being a cumulative reduction (19%) the time of Tubman is applied (10%) - so it seems like either the bonus of Tubman overwrites the reduction (game just picks the higher value) or the upgrade time reduction for traps is not applied by Burj Al Arab.

Currently I see two different issues then:
1. The reduction is around 18% instead of 19%
2. The reduction is not applied to traps

Can you please feedback on those?

Cheers,

Dimun

Oil refinery upgrade 12 days without wonder
Should be about 10d22h with wonder. Shown correctly before initiating the upgrade
After the upgrade it turns out to be 11 days

Upgrading Fort to Level 10:

Base time: 16d

Time advertised with Burj (9% reduction): 14d 13h

Actual time remaining after upgrade started (7% reduction): 14d 21h

So two of the houses are not being counted.

I also had two houses appear as huts after upgrading to Information Age. They fixed that. But it reveals that two of my houses are "special". I did buy two starter packs, so maybe that is the issue.

Please fix this issue. Thank you.

Update: I was able to get the full 9% discount on buildings by moving houses to sit completely within the green circle radius. So my theory is that the advertised time reduction allows houses to cross the circle's edge, but the actual time reduction requires the houses to sit completely within the circle. Yeah, I know that sounds screwy. I will check again in a few days when I start the next upgrade.

Try moving the houses in the map editor because I did that, too.

Bottom line, the advertised and actual time reductions should be calculated the same but they're not. In the meantime you might be able to work around the issue.

By the way, the Spec Ops Infantry are fantastic. I got hit twice with 15 infiltrators and the Spec Ops Infantry stopped both attacks dead in their tracks!

Re: traps

I currently have a 1% trap upgrade time reduction from Tubman. A 10% time reduction was advertised with Burj (9%+1%), but only the 1% reduction from Tubman was applied once the upgrade was started. The Burj reduction was ignored completely.
