Attack helicopters

There should be a bit of a damage buff and health buff for attack helicopters. My 2 elite attack helicopters get overwhelmed by one heavy tank 2 ages below me, which should not happen, even MBTs overwhelm them many times. The damage they do is too little, and the health they have too little as well. 2 of them take up the same space as a heavy tank yet still get absolutely decimated by them. Sometimes even 2 towers can overwhelm one of my helicopters. A 5 or 10 percent damage increase and health increase would make these troops way better.

That takes up 192 space and I do have blessing and buffs. My attack heli does 3k dps. They are typically protected but still are weak because their hp but that 3k damage is so weak against forts and other high hp buildings

I've had this argument before. Helis should - as in real life - be almost invincible with their longer range rockets and manoeuvrability. Anyway .....

Using few helis on their own - unless you use 16! - is likely the issue. Use a mix of troops with them that can cover their vulnerabilities: bazookas, mortars, infantry, apcs, etc. These all provide excellent cover and compliment each other.
Expecting any one troop type to look after itself is unrealistic - especially against a HT.

Besides, have you heard of a little building called the Manufactory? If you're at the right age you can buff the Heli quite well - even add to it's range. My Auto age helis do just nicely in my mix. 😊

Yes I have already maxed the HAV rangefinder and provide them cover; but the moment my bazookas and generals are eliminated, the attack helicopters are basically sitting ducks to any high health unit. What other advice do you have then? I use 3 heavy tanks, 3 artillery, 2 attack heli, 2 bazookas, and 2 commandos, and have zhukov, Churchill, and MacArthur at about level 30. I use my fighters to try and aid the helicopters too, but I always get in bad situations attacking much stronger bases where an enemy tank will attack my helix while my main army is dealing with much more defenders and I send my fighters to aid there instead, where I usually lose my helis

Personally I would drop 2 tanks and add 2 APCs & 2 helis - or 2 APCs, 1 heli and the rest bazookas. The Infantry spawning from APCs are good at distracting defenders while the rest do the killing. My combos are similar to yours but no HTs - just extra helis, APCs & zooks. My generals add enough HT power on the field.
Don't underestimate the damage potential of 10-12 infantry - which keep spawning as needed. (especially with protect from the manufactory) ;)

ps: if you want more HT firepower, borrow the enemy's ... 😁

I would get APCs but my Main reason I don’t use them is the low HP, last time I used them they’d get one or two shot by missile silos. The thing with my setup now is that I don’t have to worry as much about the silo and I can just go eliminate other targets with my transports. But I do intend to add more helis (2 more after I get sun tzu troop bonus and I replace one rpg), I might also switch to the Romans from the Chinese too for even more troops.

APC infantry go a long way to alleviate this - and while the defense is tackling the infantry, the APCs are generally left alone to keep spawning.
I agree APC infantry are good but in wars they always are mowed down by enemy captain’s helicopters (when I typically view my allies’ attacks)

Not true if apc are equipped right and heavy inf spawned it’s all about the munitions .

Helicopter are not invincible just ask Afghan fighters smoking them Hind D with RPG , Blackhawks in Haiti shot down 50 cal and RPG Ft Hood Texas national guard with training rounds Apache Longbow destroyed by a Bradley 25 mil not even starting on UH-50 shot down in Vietnam . Predator and other drone making attack helicopter pointless

LRE on towers too

Plus every loading up hp for defenders
Stlll helicopter need no boost cause of munitions would not be fair they would eat defenders and towers if boosted

OK - my setup is to eliminate the silo with paras first, then the paras keep on distracting the defenders for a little while while I deploy my troops. So then I guess you need to keep your HTs or adjust your silo strategy. There won't be a one-size-fits-all solution.

Yeah sure but they're Captain's helis - they're supposed to be badass. But the infantry are serving their purpose, no? 🤔
As I said above, there's nothing that fits all scenarios. Captain's heli beats infantry. Captain HT beats Captain's Heli, Betrayal beats Captains HT, etc, etc ...

That's why you have a mix in your combo, including tactics and aircraft, to adapt to the ever changing situation.

yep my bad i thought you were romans my main was romans which can use 15 helis 15x12=180 and with stacking buffs they were pretty good except in world war as the stronghold spawns huge amount of troops these days back in the day nobody would donate to stronghold lol btw i dont recommend heavy tank especially only heavy tank builds like 5-6 heavy tank thanks to museum, betrayal and traps they are not that useful anymore and with my korean account ive had 5 apcs, 5 commandos 1 gutling gun and rest were bazookas the result was pretty good better than brainded heavy tank setup lol i recommend you this sometime
