Alliance Invitation ?

As leader of an alliance , just wondering how the invitation botton works . If I lock it after so many members , would people send me an invitation to join my alliance or would I personally have to invite people to join , not sure how it work , can anyone give me somewhat of an idea , Thanks .

Once your alliance is closed for new members, you will have to send invitations to players (which will show up in their inbox). Otherwise, those players won't see a 'join' button and won't be able to join your alliance.

Ok thanks wvolf , it's what I thought it was going to be . This I was wondering because a lot of people join with me but just seem to lie dormant , so once a week or so I do a clean up of inactive players to make room for people who what to play.
