2,500 crowns for $0.99

So... what’s the plan to address all of the Android players that were just offered as many packs of 2,500 crowns for $0.99 as they wanted? We just had a large section of the player base just buy 100,000+ crowns for nearly nothing.

Yes this needs to be addressed and resolved there has been severe crown inflation due to this.

Crown inflation? lol This is ridiculous. It's not like money where too much in circulation causes inflation as it drives up the prices of existing commodity.

My advice would be to reset crowns back 24 hours and refund any crown purchases during that time period. That’s about the only possible fix other than opening up the $0.99 deal to everyone (which I wouldn’t recommend). Problem is you’d have to reset base progress back as well for all of those that instantly upgraded university with crowns.

It has put iOS players at quite a disadvantage. As well as American players who were sleeping when it happened. I don’t blame android users for taking advantage of such an incredible bug but really like in any economic environment this will have repercussions if not balanced in some way. The game wasn’t meant to have such an influx of ingame currency like that. Literally half the world will have better bases and tools to use today than they did yesterday. How’s the other half of the world supposed to compete with that?

If you buy a TV in shop and your friend buys the same with a large discount/sales in another shop, you will cry as well ?
None players are at the same advancement, some are much more advanced as others, and so ?
Competition takes place only with war and the matchmaking takes into account your offense and defense level, so if you are higher level you will find higher level opponents.
Buying troop cards and heavy one such as EA creates really the unfairness (if EA are loaded on defense and offense on all bases for instance).

No, I will go to the store and demand they match the price, and decent store will. If they don't, then I'd return the tv.
Imagine playing golf. Some players (mostly Koreans) got such an edge, they are starting on 18th hole on the green, all they have to do is put that last ball in a hole few feet away, while the rest is somewhere on 5th or 6th hole. You can't ever match their score, doesn't matter how hard you try.

They’re definitely wrong. Many players have already confirmed that it’s not a visual bug and their cards were charged $0.99

Possible solution : make an announced sale of crowns which will let everyone buy 2500 crowns for a defined number of times (UP to developer 1,2,5,10) this will give everyone an option to willingly purchase the crowns. of course the developer will lose some revenue on the radically discounted crowns but it should result in some payback as people who wouldn't buy them at regular price will spend up to 10 €/£/$.

If a bug gets introduced inadvertently, it gets established as the new way things work, and it's announced to be under 'new management'!
Let the crown sales go under 'new management' at the earliest!

Jokes apart, something needs to be done to make it fair for those who didn't get a chance to purchase crowns at such low prices. It wouldn't be nice to just sweep it under the rug and call out an apology.

Problem is that a lot of people bought 100k+ in crowns. I’ve seen a number of screenshots showing 250k+.

So even allowing everyone to buy the deal 10 times still doesn’t even things out. And it would give those who already took advantage of it another opportunity to add crowns cheaply.

100k crowns at 0.99 per 2500 c is close to 40 € if that is nothing for you then you shouldn't have problem to buy them at regular price...

and if someone is willing to spend 40+€ in one go let them have it they are signing the paycheck to the developers so the rest of us can play for free

before someone will start questioning my sanity I do know what the difference between 10k and 100k of crowns is.

I am just trying to point out that the regular spenders wouldn't buy more than 10-20 packets and with the heavy ones it doesent matter as they are way to advanced anyway

This is when we are going to see if Nexon cares about his customers or is just another boring company. They have a great opportunity to show there is something else than just making a profit.
