university time problems

Hey,
Well i came here to discuss a problem that is furstrating and the ingame support aight helping xs
the problem is: ive a total of -105% time reduction for university research, meaning all gold and food research should theoretically happen insteadly, yet it still takes months for me to finish those.. i invested and worked hard to achieve this -105%, but now i feel fooled cuz i dont get this time reduction..

Small oversight on the 10.1 patch notes. There is in fact an 85% time reduction cap for University Research. I hope this helps!

thanks! to bad xs so first they push us to get those artifacts to get university reduction time and right after they put a limit on it.. now ive 1 artifact ive which i cant use = a waste.. i feel like ive been fooled..

Hello. I am glad to see that there are others in the same situation.

I too knew that the 100% reduction in university research hours was not working, but I did not expect BHG to propose the cowardly solution of limiting it to 85% after the fact.

I spent 300 tokens on a soul catcher. For that piece of garbage that has no value whatsoever other than to reduce research hours at the university!
Unbelievably, BHG says they cannot return these tokens either.

Please don't give up. Let's raise our voices together.
I am not convinced that we are going to do what the damned BHG says we are going to do.

totally agreed. I hope that they change the reduction of time to around 90%-95%,or just simply regulate university research time has a minimum of 1 hour or so.this is the priority if they decided to do any changes.also they should compensate us who spent unnecessary legendary tokens or money just because they didn't notice us the bug.

You’re kidding!!! I’ve been saving speed ups specially to obtain one last legendary to get the uni discount. Only to be “had” with a cap limit.
The only positive should be the oil research .

Most (all?) other museum artefacts have 85% cap - so while I understand your frustration it fits in with all the others.
And 85% reduction is still pretty good. Are you saying you wouldn't have bought the artefact if it was listed as only 85%??

Everyone makes mistakes although a decent gesture would be to refund eg: 150 tokens to anyone who purchased the artefact based on a typo ..... @Harlems369th ??

Certainly one part of the museum effects will be limited to 85%, but some will not.
I know many top players have heavy tanks with HP and damage buffs above 85%, but how would you feel if those were suddenly limited to 85% and your The art of war and Da Vinci's Flying Machine were trashed?
The fact is that for a long time (while the only artifacts that reduced university research time were Enigma and Mars Rover) a 95% reduction was effective for research with gold and meat.
I don't think the 85% limit in itself is a bad thing. I am angry that they set the limit as an afterthought (not announcing at the time of the third AF sale that they would limit it to 85% in the future) and that there is no compensation for players who got the garbage for a high price.
I have never once exhibited a soul catcher: 、、、、、、、

And by the way, this restriction not only limits the museum, but also the effects of Mansamusa, Hiawatha, Da Vinci's Master Bonus, the Space Age Library, the Space Needle, and Congress.
What about compensation for the effort expended on them?

Why should the user be held responsible for BHG selling AF without doing the math that a grade schooler could do?

Yeah same here! Im okey with the restriction, what im not okey with is that they first let u spend to get it and then after, once u got it, suddenly they say u cant use it cuz of the restriction..
Its like saying, hey buy a new sport car, once u do they say thx for buying but u cant drive with ur car..
