I love the recent changes that were introduced into this game, especially munitions like the one that gives protection to defenders and make them relevant on the battlefield.
Even though, attacking has become a bit difficult and I feel I need more troops on the offensive side of the battlefield to run new army compositions. So, I would like to go further and suggest some balance rework:
1. Increase army troop space by 5 on each barrack at cold war age or further and/or reduce troop space of some selected and unused units.
The new university research on tactical helicopter is a good idea but it's not enough because this unit still needs 12 troop space, which is a lot.
2. Improve unused troops such as assault vehicle, medium tank, MRL, etc.
-Assault vehicle needs more hitpoints.
-Medium tank needs more damage or changing favourite target to "buildings".
-MRL needs more range, supression or something.

3. Rework attacking speed perk from mongols coalition to artillery and mortars. Nowadays it's the best strategy for wars because of this tactic, and it feels weird to see an artillery firing like a machine gun. So I think you could reduce the maximum attacking speed bonus from 76% to 25% and add a +50% projectiles blast area. This way artillery would damage enemy troops that are close to buildings.
