Hi,
It’s been a while since I created a post here. There was a time, years ago when I was quite active on the Forum. I think a lot of people, like me, aren’t feeling the excitement they once felt about the game. The game has gotten so complicated. I think the basic point of the game, nations advancing through the ages, has been overshadowed by extras added over the years to draw income for BHG. And these over-complicated extras have introduced bugs, glitches and opportunities for cheating.
What if, we could go back to the basics? What if a separate server is introduced on a monthly subscription plan (no extra purchases, no crowns, no speed-ups) with the basic game as it was in December 2015 when war was introduced? Then we could all start over and grow our accounts organically, compete on a level playing field and wars would be won by skill and strategy, not by the alliances who paid or cheated the most. Time played is the main commodity.
Some adjustments can be made to give a better experience. Defense will need to be enhanced. Adjust barracks/factory/air troops so various troop comp styles are competitive and everything is used. Balance the different nations so we have to learn new methods of attacking and defending depending on nations involved. New ages can be added as time goes by (but not necessarily the PTW/CTW buildings like SH and museum) to keep things fresh and exciting. I think we could get enough people willing to pay a subscription to make up for lost income of purchased legendary items, tactical troops, stupid videos etc. That income would be lost anyway when everyone quits in a few months. Why not breath life back into the game using the basics?
So what does everyone think? Would you be willing to pay a monthly subscription to play? How much would you be willing to pay? Wouldn’t it be worth the cost of a streaming service or fast food to play?
It’s just a silly idea that came into my head. Please be kind in your replies.
Hugs and kisses,
Gail
