Pixelmon Mod (1.21.2, 1.21.1) (or Pixelmon Reforged) is the perfect mod for all Minecraft players that are fans of the popular game Pokémon. This mod adds nearly 905 of the cute critters to the game. It is fully configurable and has a lot of cool features like a functioning pokedex, a 3D pokeball and capture animation, a fossil machine for reviving fossils found around the world and much, much more! Pixelmon Mod also have a comprehensive attack system featuring over 500 attacks, including status effects and stats modifiers. While many mods which add content to the game are known to interfere with other mods functioning correctly, this mod makes no change to any base files, which means it works well with the vast majority of other mods and can be used right alongside some of the most popular Minecraft add-ons available today.

I just used a 6 hour speed-up on a University skill that stated it should only take 5 hours and 35 minutes. However, after using the speed-up, it shows that there are 47 minutes left until the research is completed. I’ve seen this multiple times over the past week or so at least, but finally caught the difference today.

I have also seen this as it relates to buildings. My best guess is that the speed up time is being applied to the default time for a given research or upgrade, not the adjusted time if you have other research already ongoing for those cases where the speed-up time is greater than the time remaining.
