Another update, another slow, slow slog before it becomes available on IOS.
How can I tell whether it is actually available on IOS? I'm not sure. Basically, I look at the write-up of the game in the Apple store and guess. Usually, sometimes days after the update is announced, what's in the store makes it appear as though I am up to date -- certainly, in-synch with what is in the store. But I am out of synch with team mates and cannot give troops. So I delete the game and download the version on the IOS store. Sometimes, to my surprise, I get a new version. Usually, not.
Why make me guess? Why not just show the bleeping version number on the settings tab so I can see what version I am running, and then I can compare to the version number in the Apple store and not waste my time deleting, downloading, and checking whether it made a difference?
